I know, this name is much more common in NY, for example, but where I live it's very rare.
Actually, my first name officially is Immanuël (very religious family, my grandparents picked both names), but somehow I got people to call me Sam

I have the 1143rd most popular first name in the US, so I'd say it's still fairly rare. Then again, my brothers and I all have fairly uncommon first names. Summer, Brendan, and Jonas...what my mother was thinking, I'll never know.

my name isn't very common, and the spelling is even less common. most people spell it wrong or say it incorrectly on the first try.

According to How Many of Me 'Melissa' is the 66th most popular first name which is ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT. I have yet to meet another person with the first name Melissa. My middle name is actually pretty rare though. It's also a boys name but whatever.

Apparently there are 256 other people with my first and last name, so my last name must be pretty common.

...Has any out there ever met more than one 'Melissa'. I'm pretty sure it's a fairly rare name.

I've never met anyone that has my first name. I've Heard of people with their last name being my first name but it's NEVER their first name. I also have a last name that is, I'm pretty sure, Norwegian for 'village'.
