Poll: How did you become an escapist?

Friend of mine linked me to Zero Punctuation because I was playing The Witcher and she knew I had a thing for British accents. Didn't really become a regular to the site until Unskippable and ENN which had me spending more time on here and eventually reading the articles. Only just started paying attention to the forums though

Like many others, I came for ZP but stayed for the community.

I also like the Unforgotten Realms and the forums, so I joined.

Saw a video of yahtzee on youtube.
Thought "I disagree with him so much but that was also funny.
Googled zero punctuation.
The rest is history.

I used to think his way of reviewing was very raw and distasteful. A few years later I re-found Yahtzee here and found his ways had stayed the same when my taste for funny reviews, however, hasn't...
Few years later I had this urge to discuss after checking the forums every once in a while. And here I am now, holding a flameshield with one arm, and turning a 'Valve' with the other.

Starting watching Zero Punctuation after about two weeks I decided some of the forum topics are awesome! So I made an account!

A friend showed me Zero Punctuation, I didn't like it, saw it a week later, loved it and systematically watched every episode and joined the Escapist. Now I love the forums and have seen pretty much every video on this site!

I used to watch the original version of unforgotten realms that was on Newgrounds.com. When it moved after getting a contract on the escapist I followed. Think I stay now though for Unskippable and Zero Punctuation.

One of my friends showed me a ZP video back when he first started moving them here instead of putting them on Youtube.

I know that's how a ton of people found out about the site, but I seriously never saw it before then when I'd search for regular game reviews and stuff like that. I love the rest of the content on the site though, along with the ZP reviews, so that's what got me to eventually make an account, even though it was way later than when I first got here. lol
