I have a bullet wound on my left arm from getting shot with a .22 (Is this the badass thing we speak of?!) and a nice mark that's still on me, from when I was swinging my crowbar too hard and missed the target... caused me to get thrown off, and I ended up digging into my own leg. Ouch.
OH! I almost forgot! My glasses once busted from sheer force of a punch, and somehow the glass didn't get caught in my eyes or face... it got caught in my feet though.
ALSO: Can I qualify for Gordon Freemanship now?

I have one scar, a fairly small one on the base of my index finger. I was being robbed at knifepoint while manning the checkout in a petrol station one night. Brain foolishly gave body control for a second and I tried to twist the knife out of the robber's hand by grabbing it between two fingers. It surprised the hell out of him, I think. He recovered by pulling the knife back, cutting my finger in the process. Brain was in charge again by that point and I just stood back at let him grab what he wanted and go.

Everyone has some interesting scars and birthmarks, so what do you guys have and how did you get them?

To the onlooker, I have a Z on my right knee and a C on my left knee, and they're birthmarks. I also have some cuts around my ankle from where I kicked out a window.
I have a bunch, don't remember them all though.
The ones I do remember are these:

A 'round' scar just above my left knee; Accidentally cut open on barbed wire years ago.

A small oval scar on the middle of my lower left leg; In middle school, a blob of puss the size of half a tennisball somehow formed there in 2 weeks, eventualy cut away by the doctor.

The most memorizable is this one:

A lot of very small holes in the palm of my left hand; Created when I was pissed and slammed straight through a 1,5 cm thick window(yes, I measured it afterwards) with my hand opened. God it scared me.

Gee, looking back at this I conclude my left side has suffered alot. :s

I had my head smashed into a vending machine.

Sounds pretty bad but I was just messing around with someone, totally accidental.

I don't have many scars but my favourite was the one I got at school while we were playing softball. I was the backstop and while the batter was still running the next batter came up to the base. The ball landed next to the base and I dived for it and the person waiting to bat pretended to swing at the legs of the batter still running and hit me in my right eyebrow with the bat. Very bloody.

I have a huge scar spanning my chin from when I was sledding down a 70 degree slope of ice. I hit a bump, and the sled I was on flew up and bashed me in the chin. I thought that I had just taken a small hit, so I got up and climbed the hill again. I didn't realize how bad it was until my sister looked at me and screamed "You're bleeding!". Also, there was a stream of blood trailing back up the hill.

My right side takes a beating. Four on my right hand, one on the right side of my back, two on my right ankle

I only have two scars - a pock mark from when I had some sort of pox, and a small scar through my eyebrow where I got kicked in the face during a game of football.

It's not easy being goalkeeper, you know.

I got a scar on the top of my wrist from an I.V. When I was a baby I had a real bad infection in my lungs and the medicine in the I.V. caused a blister which turned into a massive scar.

And I have lots of scars from football injuries and fireworks(burns).

I have three little scars on the side of my wrist that look like little tally marks. How I got them... I had depression and I'll let you fill in the rest.
Funny how appealing the number 3 is. I've got the same three, except I've got issues with anxiety instead of depression. I'm surprised we're the only two to admit it here.

When I was an infant, I tried grabbing a glass dish from on top of the kitchen table when it slipped and shattered.

What happened next?

Slashed wrist.
Lots of blood.
Many stiches.

Over time the scar has faded. But people who look closely assume I attempted suicide.

Maybe I did...
