I have three little scars on the side of my wrist that look like little tally marks. How I got them... I had depression and I'll let you fill in the rest.
Funny how appealing the number 3 is. I've got the same three, except I've got issues with anxiety instead of depression. I'm surprised we're the only two to admit it here.
It's probably because cutting seems like a bit of a social stigma, branding someone 'Emo' and whatnot. So most people who have cut are afraid to admit it. Or at least that's how it seems. Personally I don't care if people know. Heck, I still wear t-shirts! :p

I love your icon by the way. :D

I guess that's it; the only surprise might be that people tend to be more open on the internet. But not for everything, I suppose.

<3 and thank you. It is a real gem, I'm quite proud of it. :D

Yep, I think it's because you can either a) say whatever the heck you want with no repercussions in real life or b) you can edit what you say and whatnot.

I have a pretty noticeable bump on my right pinkie finger from when I reached into the silverware drawer and a steak knife sliced through my finger like butter when I was about 16 or 17. Its in the shape of a C and for a while... I could not feel a damn thing when I touched the bump and I didn't have a fingerprint on it for a while. I do now though.

The best thing was that when we went to the doctor... they just super-glued what was hanging back on. I found humor in it.

I also have a scar on the back of my left hand from when a cat scratched me (I think) and a scar on the side of my left thumb from when a pair of scissors sliced my thumb open. I think I also have a scar on the palm of my left hand when I got bit by a squirrel... not too sure.

As for a birthmark... you have to really look closely. I have a small white dot in the middle of my left eye (cataract). I have had it since I was born and my mom used to call it my star. I do love it.

I have a long scar going from the middle of my arm down to my elbow but I like they way I got it the most. I tripped and fell on a jar of peanut butter. Yes a jar of Jif peanut butter. Now why was I running with a jar of peanut butter you ask? I was little and my family had a campfire and s'mores in the backyard and I like putting peanut butter on them, I was a tad hyper and the grass was wet with dew.

I also have nice lines across my wrist and everyone thinks I'm depressed. I was giving my cat a bath and she didn't like it and tried grabbing on to me.

Playing with swords in the woods with my friends. A fine slice, going from the middle of my upper right thigh, down to the right side of my knee. I was like.. 12-13 I think.

I did a front flip over the handlebars of my bike, bounced off of a rock, and then slid down 12 ft of concrete...my knees are just scars...I try real hard to avoid wearing shorts.

I have a scar just under my left eyebrow.

I got it when I was around 7. I was at the pool and changing into my shorts when some little idiot decided it would be great fun to pee on a stick and chase people with it... He got around to chasing me, and of course my instinct was to not let that stupid stick touch me.
So I turn around, move 3 feet and *BAM*! I ran into a counter top convieniently placed at little kid head height. This scar remains with me to this day. Now, the funny thing is that the scar that I got managed to form without the skin breaking, and apparently that's not normal...I still haven't gotten a decent explanation as to how this scar managed to form.

Either way, I'm proud of it.

i stepped on a stick and it actually flew up and stuck in my leg i didn't feel til my friend started laughing. the scar looks like a seahorse.
Pretty much the same thing happened to me, except at the beach. And I felt it. I REALLY felt it. Another I got from playing with a wood burning kit my grandparents got me way too soon. I burnt my thumb pretty bad, and it never got really proper medical attention. And, finally, I have a rut across my forehead I got from jumping on the couch when I was four. I landed face first on the edge of our coffe table and got something like 13 or 14 stitches.

Just two stupid injuries. There are three risen spots on my knee because I was trying to run and skip steps up an escalator in a subway station and came down hard on the edge of one the step in front of me. I thought it was nothing until the blood soaked through my pants at about halfway down my shin.

I also have a small line on my nose and a tiny spot right between my eyes. We were camping, and I was in charge of getting the rope off of the tent spikes (we had tied them up tightly around the head so that the tarp over the tent wouldn't fly away). I was feeling lazy, so I decided to break the string by stepping on one end of it and pulling up on the tent spike. The rope broke eventually, but the tip of the spike went into my face, skimming off my nose and hitting me square between the eyes.

I'm just amused that I was stupid enough to get those scars in the first place.

My back looks like a pile of noodles from a near death experience a few years back when I fell back first off a pile of trash playing king of the hill with my friends and shredding my back on rocks and tin cans.

I got stabbed in the jaw with the toes of a plastic-ribbeting-motion-sensor-frog.

I'll leave you to figure that one out.

I cut off my little finger and half my ringfinger on my right hand whilst woodcutting, which is hardly "Badass" but I can say I did it in a fight with a bear. Some people beleive it, which is very, very funny.
