If it's a new game, I buy it from GameStop.

If it's a game from an older console generation, I buy it digitally. (Rayman 1 from the PSN being a most recent example. :p)

I go to gamestop to buy games. I like to own physical copies of games. It makes it harder for people to screw me over that way. Plus I like the store workers. It is always fun talking to the,

I always buy from Steam if I am buying a PC game. It is just so damn convenient.

Console games, when I had consoles, I would buy from shops or from an online retailer. The last PC game I bought from a retailer was... Crysis I think.

Online through Amazon.

I don't have to waste the gas to go pick it up, every order I've made has qualified for free shipping, except release date delivery though it is only 99 cents for that, which is still cheaper than buying at a physical store, because physical store purchases usually have around 2 to 3 dollars of tax tacked on, while I've never been charged any tax on Amazon. So, I get things cheaper by using Amazon, and still get things on or the day before release.

I usually buy mine online at Amazon. It's not that I have anything against phsyical stores and will on occasion go to walmart (usually only for Sims 3) or gamestop for a game, but the nearest gamestop is an hour away and walmart has a very limited selection. Not to mention on Amazon I can get really good deals on games, sometimes 10, 20 dollars cheaper than I would pay in store, plus with no shipping charges on order over 25 dollars I'm not charged more, just have to wait a bit and usually never more than 3 or 4 days.

Mostly Steam.

For the occasional console game I buy used from a brick-and-morter store.

When I really am excited about a game, I like to get the whole package from either a store or Amazon. Occasionally Amazon will have a good deal and I'll snatch that up. However, usually, I end up buying from Steam because they continually have the best deals around and it's SO hard to pass up even a game I'm only mildly interested in when they're selling it at 1/4 of the price it normally sells for in store or even through Amazon...
