Depends on whether or not I'm in a hurry.

Up is two at a time if I'm feeling speedy, but down is only two at a time because I learned the hard way that one should take one's time with stairs (It involved a doorbell and a broken arm), although I will occasionally jump down the last one or two.

Ok i must be abit weird then, I usually go up most of the way on all fours and then leap the last five steps(six if i feel good that day).
I go down stairs pretty normally most of the time but if there's a banister i'd sometimes either jump over it or slide down it.

2 at a time up. 1 at a time down. And that's all the discussion this topic warrants.

If I am sober, 3 steps at a time. If I am drunk/hungover it is 2 at a time or a crawl. I go down the stairs in the same ways (apart from crawl, it would look like something from the exorcist)

If I'm walking, I go one step at a time. If I'm in a hurry, I go two or three steps. Same thing when going down.

One step, very slowly. I have poor depth perception, so I miss steps and fall all the time.

I once tried to take three steps at a time. It took me two seconds to miss one and tumble down the rest of the (luckily carpeted) stairs.

I go two at a time up and jump down the stairs when I go down, I have perfected my landings.

One step at a time, but fast enough not to annoy people. Going down, same thing, but a little faster.

That's what she said - wait.

Anyway, one step or two when I'm feeling particulary awesome.

Bad joke is bad. BAD!
Awesome joke is awesome. AWESOME

Seriously though, 'that's what she said'-jokes are the best jokes ever.

Get on all fours and scurry up sideways in some bizarre, Lovecraftian crabwalk

I don't climb stairs. I walk up them.

Semantics aside, I'll go one or two at a time depending on the stairs. I got long legs so I can pull off two at a time pretty easily. Occasionally though if I'm going fast enough I'll go on all fours. Haven't done that in a while though.

Upwards in my house, two steps at a time.

Downwards in my house, one step at a time, very quickly, using only tiptoes, at the four last steps , I jump and make a perfect landing.

Upwards and downwards, outside my house, one step at a time, normal speed, like a normal human being.

I'm 181cm tall but I have long legs. Thus I climb 3 stairs at a time. I also am used to climbing them as fast as possible (even if it ends up in my exhaustion). I climbed to the top of Siegessäule in Berlin in less than 2 minutes even though at the top I was about to go unconscious.

It was fun though.
