I hate them and I need to put with them DAILY (due to the taxi company putting me in a taxi with three of them) and here is why: they get away with everything, they think they are the center of the fucking universe and their voices DEAR GOD! THEY PIERCE MY FUCKING EARDRUMS!
PS
they say children are the future if that,s the case I don,t want too see the future
PPS
I even hate some of my cousin,s and if I EVER where to have kids I would send them to boot camp at the age of 5 so they don,t turn into self-entitled shits

I don't like them, and when people pull the "OHH SO YOU HATED YOURSELF HMMM??" card I just say that in hindsight my stupid behavior and decisions aren't something I would now tolerate.
they say the exact same thing to me!
I react in saying that I don,t care if its self hate. At least I don,t have a squeaky as hell voice!

You and I, we're the same. 'Cept for the Sailor Moon stuff, I haven't watched it since I was a kid. Also no girlfriend... :'(

However, yes I loathe children. They're terrible little creatures that take up space, resources and money. Plus they're noisy as all fuck.

I want to steal their youth, incidentally, it turns out that bathing in a person's blood doesn't make you younger, who knew?

I think they're awesome. Any assholism in kids is just adopted from their parents. I want lots. Their view of the world is way better than most adults I know..

I despise them with a passion.

Mainly because I work with them.
You took the words right out of my head.

I think there are so many parents who don't teach their children courtesy and manners that the bad eggs have spoiled the rest. I hate other families though. I hate how at the airport the families think they should get on first because they have small kids. So I think I truly despise lazy self absorbed parents more than the kid. They are just the vanguard of their parents ineptness.

Heh my daughter started eating sushi at 3, watches anime, her first knock knock joke was from animaniacs and her favorite game is Super Mario Bros. 2 on my WII and at 5 she made a cosplay for a anime con...As well she learned there we no monsters in the dark using the NVG from my MW2 collectors edition, I can see daddy and my kitties but no mosters. And she loves disney princess but Tigers make everything safe and better cause monsters are afraid of tigers... She loves Slayers, Batman the animated series and one piece. But only Funimation, when shown the 4kids dub she said "Daddy this is stupid I wanna see the real One piece." after one showing...

She's the little bad ass I want defining the new era.

That kid is a bad ass and i'll never think twice about her...ever.

It's a whole new game when yer kid is that awesome.

She gets a win in my book.
if only all the kids in the world where that good

While I do find them quite annoying as hell but I would still like to have one when I do end up in a loving relationship with someone. I suppose this means I will do the best I can to raise him/ her to be a fine person. Don't forget they do GROW up that is if you willing to handle the several years for that to happen.

I really do not want children :( I can't really communicate with them.

I have however accepted that when i settle down with someone, eventually shes gonna want me to knock a kid out of her.

I can't stand kids.
They're annoying, they're greedy, they're persistent, and they're materialistic little bastards.
Yes, they are stupid, but it's not bad to challenge them.

I love children.

I'm sorry, but if looking at the little bundles of joy doesn't just make you happy then.....you are a bad person. :p

How can you people be so heartless?

I think it's silly and actually a little ignorant to not like people just because they are young. I've met plenty of good kids in my lifetime that were more than pleasant to talk to and be around, I've met some litte hellions too. But then, I've met nice people and jerks of almost EVERY age bracket.

When most people say they don't like kids, they are usually talking about the brats of the world, but lest we forget there are plenty if not more adult jerks in the world, so I think it's just easier to say that you hate ungrateful jerks of any age, rather than arbitrarily singling out children. People do it because they are lazy and uninformed, or feel awkward around children. I find in my experience, those who bark on about how bad children are, are usually the LAST to do anything about it, if put into a situation where they really should.

I'm not very fond of children in general. Specifically, I am not fond of thinking about what my wife and I would have had to give up these past 11 years if we had children instead of finding a doctor willing to sterilize my wife when we were in our early 20's.

We enjoy being able to do what we want to do, when we want to do it. Our friends with children do not have this luxury. It's not so much that I "hate" children - I don't - but I prefer my life the way it is. People told us we were going to change our minds when those "biological urges" hit but we honestly never did. If you ask my wife or myself now what the best decision we could have made in our relationship is, it was the decision to not have children.

A few interesting links about the happiness (or lack thereof) that children bring to your life:

http://www.newsweek.com/2008/06/28/having-kids-makes-you-happy.html (Notice the title is tongue-in-cheek because the study found that having children subtracts from happiness in married couples)

Or this quote:
"As Daniel Gilbert, a professor of psychology at Harvard University wrote in Time magazine, "Studies reveal that most married couples start out happy and then become progressively less satisfied over the course of their lives, becoming especially disconsolate when their children are in diapers and in adolescence, and returning to their initial levels of happiness only after their children have had the decency to grow up and go away."

See the whole article here:
http://www.deseretnews.com/article/700119798/Studies-say-children-subtract-from-happiness-so-what-do-we-really-feel.html

So perhaps the secret to our long and happy marriage - I was 21 and she was 19 when we tied the knot; and we're still together and in love - was that we never had kids.

Food for thought.

Welcome to the escapist, home of the misanthropes.

[sub]Seriously, for a site that is technically a form of social network, we have a ton of anti-social members. It's not just kids they hate; it's people in general.[/sub]
