Poll: How do you feel about interracial marriages?

Never had a problem with them to be honest.My older brother(white Irish)is married to a Chilean woman and one of my mother's best friends is a Fijian woman married to an Irish bloke

I tend to react the same way (meaning it makes me feel a little uncomfortable, jealous and threatened) but for fucks sake, you cant let that get the better of you. Its a primal instinct. Its not needed. You should put it aside.

You can dislike something while still supporting it with your actions or at least not opposing it.

Why should I support something I don't like?

You've already made the absurd assumption that they are to naturally seek people of the same race. Which is why you don't care if people of your own race marry within it, because you assume it's only normal for that to happen.

Your math is based on stupid assumptions.
"guys in my ethnic group getting girls are fine of course, by get a girl he gives up the others in the same pool I'm targeting." <- Idiotic assumption that it is normal for him to be dating the girl just because they're of the same race. No, if it was about the 'math' you'd include him too. He gets a pass because the real source of this is racism.

Birth ratio are about 1.2 male/female - but works out about equal because males are more likely to die for some reason. When someone from my ethic group gets a suitor of the same group, the balance is fine. When someone outside get a suitor, the balance changes, some male/female is out of a mate. Of course, someone of the opposite sex from the one marrying the outsider can also marry another outsider to rebalance things. That person won't be me, as I said I don't really find girls outside my ethic group all that attractive, add the "False consensus effect" into the mix and I don't feel so good about the situation. On the more empirical front, from official statistics about marriages things don't look very good from the rebalancing point of view either.

Well... the women dating guys not from your race aren't interested in you. So they're not your dating prospects either, they are taken. Just like the girls dating guys from your race.
Makes no sense.

You dont have `dibs` on any prospective girl, so when she dates someone, regardless of colour, you have no right to get iffy about it.
