Poll: How do you justify it?

I have Pirated a few songs, and I justify that by knowing that I can listen to them completely free on youtube whenever I want. I have pirated one game, and one game only. Fallout 3. I justify this by knowing that my brother has already spent 110$ dollars on the ps3 version, and I already own the intellectual property, so why should I have to pay to get it again?

I justify it with the knowledge that I contribute a large proportion of my meagre income into the industries in question. That is a very poor justification, I know. Ultimately I have no justification.

Some things are easier to justify, like TV shows that I'll just never get the chance to see otherwise in my country.

I only tried to pirate once, and I couldn't find a torrent. And that's just it: I tried to pirate because "The Dark Eye" CANNOT be found ANYWHERE!
