I still vote white bread because it's best for everything.
Acutally brown bread can taste good with certain things

"Jelly", gah!

Americans have destroyed my language! It be jam, beasts!
No, there is actually a difference between them. Jam is made from the fruit, and jelly is made from the juice. They are two different (but similar) things.

It's much better with jam though.

If Captain Oblivious is eating Marmite, he probably lives in the UK :)

There isn't an option for "I've never eaten peanut butter and jam" in my life and I don't intend to start now. Peanut butter is a vile creation and spawn of the Devil.

If there is sandwich meat on it, it's gotta be whole wheat, but PBJ, or grilled cheese need to be one white bread.

On a side note, I thought this topic was about LBJ, because I'm dyslexic.

Maybe, I haven't really had much jam though. American anti-cultural capitalism refused to let me.

Hey try this, a grilled cheese sandwich with peanut butter on it! It sounds nasty, but it's actually awesome, especially when you got the munchies. But you gotta grill the cheese with the peanut butter so they both melt. It's freaking great!

I eat my PBJ on sourdough bread. No I don't. White bread! Although all meat sandwiches are best on heavier bread, like sourdough or ciabatta or whatever.

What? I hope you are kidding. Are you blaming America for never having eaten jam? lol

It was a joke. But jam isn't really popular here. Well if anything its just losing out to jelly.

In America, as far away from me as possible.

I dont like any kind of sweet sandwich, it just seems wrong to me, and a PB&J sandwich just seems like recipe for a sugary glue made to clog up your innards. I may soak one in water and use it to hang wallpaper, but I would never eat one.

However I do, very occasionally at breakfast, enjoy a slice of brown bread toast with peanut butter and either grapefruit of lime marmalade on it, but I would never put another piece of bread on top of that and call it a sandwich... John Montagu would turn in his grave.

I don't even like white bread any more, I like brown. None of those nasty nuts and grains however, just brown.

This, except it should be ham, cheese and pickle.

White bread is the only way to go when it comes to PBJ. It's just how the sandwich was meant to be.

So delicious.
