How do you play sandbox games, or games that have a morality system?
Whenever I play I go for he evil route. I will kill anyone or anything, regardless of the consequences.

When I'm playing GTA, I actually try to avoid killing civilians - don't ask me why, perhaps it's just me trying to instill some sense of realism. However, I'm very gung-ho when I need to kill any enemies, usually using any means at my disposal in order to get the job done; if some civilians die in the process, then so be it. Outside of missions, however, I'm quite the pacifist.

In terms of games like Fallout that have a morality system, I almost always go the way of the good guy - I've played through Fallout 3 three times now, and each time I can't help but go the way of the "good" guy (who steals everything); I do what I need to survive, but I also try to make my character reflect how I'd actually deal with the situation.

hmmm, being Sociopathic is very acceptable in a computer game.

however I prefer throwing grenades at them and it looks real sweet if the game has a decent physics engine, that or slowly killing them while laughing at their pain and suffering.

Like a dick. A huge, sociopathic dick. Best games for this: Saint's Row 2, Fallout 3, and Just Cause 2.

I like wounding my civillians in the leg and shooting them slowly. I also like to shoot whole 200 round clips at them after they died.

Depends on the game. I tend to avoid killing random NPC's in games like oblivion unless they shit me.

But in games like GTA, what would be the point without running over pedestrians?

I'm basically just a mercenary. I will kill anyone as long as it gets me a profit, or if they annoy me, as long as there won't be any negative consequences. Damn you Moira!

I play a sociopath. Sometimes I go down the route of a mercenary with this, and keep people alive long enough to work for them. I usually kill them later though.

I play the sociopath, but not the insane murdering type, the pragmatic type that realizes that if you kill the shopkeeper then there won't be anyone to sell the stuff you loot from all those corpses.

Those many, many corpses.

It honestly depends on what game I'm playing. If I play GTA IV I focus on killing my targets with no casualties, though if the AI gets buggy and does something to really annoy me I don't show mercy; in Oblivion I focus on being a very nice guy to everyone, enemies included, whilst having a naive person narrating in my head, but I sometimes take an hour or so and murder the entire population of the province.

Wow I just realized I don't play sandbox games.

I'm pretty indiscriminate, at least in games like GTA and Just Cause. Games like Fallout 3 and Oblivion are different, I rarely kill anyone unless they're trying to kill me.

If im playing a game like mercinaries, I try to portray a Sniper roll, Thinking about where i am and thining out the enemy forces from a distance, Before charging in and kicking the target in the groin.

Although if im playing SR2, Im only 3% into the story, I just take a plane, Fly around, Lose a wing, Crash, Then Fight Gangs.

VERY good fun.

If its got a morality system, Im usually good, Ill follow my own moral compass - I wont be evil for the sake of being evil.

I can only really approach sandbox games- being so large- If I pretend the character is myself. I only react to things how I would, and, as such, try my best to leave everyone alive. Invisible War (Whilst not a sandbox game) was pretty good for this, with the OP tonfa you get at the beginning.
The SECOND time around, however- Yeah, everyone dies.
