I just go on my way doing the missions and collecting the extras and minimize civilian casualties but only cause I feel it's more challenging to avoid killing civilians than ignoring them and running over them all the time although sometimes it's unavoidable.

Like when they jump under the wheels of your car. I hate suicidal AI civilians

Exactly those idiots always jump under the wheels of my car although it was really funny when I ran over a civilian with a motorcycle in GTA4 and the civilian hit Niko and then Niko fell of the Bike

i tend to kill anything that gets between me and the mission objective. so if the hapless pedestrian gets in the way of my bullet hose, then that's his problem. my resoning is that no matter what i do i'll get cops on me, so everyone is fair game. besides the npcs tend to get in the way when i'm driving.
