When I reply on a multi paged thread I normally read the first page and after I replied read the last page since it is already there and might contain quotes that might give me an idea of the most interesting/debatable points made in the thread.

The problem with this is that it's entirely based on the thread, and after that, it's based on how lazy I'm feeling.

If it's a thought provoking thread, I will more than likely read through all the answers, unless I feel that I'd better think about it myself and then see other people's answers, in which case I read the OP, then reply, then read the others.

If it's not thought provoking, I might read replies of my "friends" or just pick random ones, and then I may or may not reply.

I'll read it all before replying, unless it is just a simple question that is easily answered.

I go through the first page, then scout through the thread a bit at random until I've found my pray.

Worked well in the Avatar: the Last Airbender thread.

So really, my option of "Look until I find something interesting" isn't in the poll. Poopie.

First 2 pages on pretty much every thread, then it depends on how interesting the thread is. Hell, I've read all 20 pages of a thread once.
I believe we've both read all pages on the Behind the Avatar thread as well.

It depends on the topic. If it's funny/Insightfull i may read it all.

If its full of stupidity, Ill comment then leave.

If its my first post on the thread, I wont bother posting if it's over 5 pages.

I mean who really[/I] would read my post, as after 5 pages, a lot of the community would've already seen the thread.

Usually when I read through the whole thread I don't reply.

Depends how interesting the thread is, sometimes I'll read everything, sometimes I'll just skim it.

It depends on how bored I am. And if it's a topic that'll have interesting replies.

But I usually just read the OP and reply.

It really depends if I like the topic or not. For example, if its a bunch of awesome storys of drunken adventures, I'll read it all, but if it's 5 pages discussing the molecular structure of human bones, I'll read the OP and maybe the first page.

Read the first page, reply, read the page I end up on, and read the rest later if I'm interested enough in the topic.

It depends on the thread. If it looks like there's a lot of discussion going on, I usually read the entire thread. If it's just a matter of everyone giving their own reply I just skim the first and last pages.

Not gonna lie. I very rarely wade my way through multiple pages of replies. I usually read most of the first and last pages before replying. I occasionally just read the OP before making a reply. And on several occasions, I have actually just replied after reading the title. Rest assured, it bit me in the ass and I'm never gonna do it again. Stupid internet karma.

It all depends on how I'm feeling. I usually read the first few replies, but I rarely read the entire thread before responding.
