Poll: How do you shave?

Electric trimmer followed by a razor, the trimmer is mostly for beard trimming but a quick once over before the razor gets pretty good results.

I avoid shaving, but about once a month shave with a razor and start my beard from the beginning (mainly to avoid getting beard tan lines). I do not use shaving cream, just a razor and water. And before someone asks, no, I very rarely get a shaving cut.
Shaving cream is a real waste of money in my opinion, and a beard has the great advantage of being both a fashionable item that can be altered as well as a conversation piece.

I shave with a razor in the shower for most of my face, I trim up the parts around my goatee at the mirror afterward.

Ive always wanted to learn with the old style Straight barber blades. I think the best shave would be done that way. but, I just use those normal razors.

I shave with the bloodied skulls of the innocent, within my lair high atop my obsidian fortress, surrounded by a moat of death (and lava).

(I really just use a Mach 3 and shave once every few days right before work. I do not use after shave because I turned into a sissy one day lol)

I give my face a electric trim, leaving a couple millimeters because my skin tend to get irritated if I go all the way. Maybe that is the trimmers fault, no idea.

I use a cheap razor and shaving cream about twice a month.

I can barely grow facial hair as it is, but the stuff that I do grow comes in with a shallow mustache and a feeble soul patch if you stare hard enough.

Seriously, I'm the one guy who wants a beard more than anything in the world but I'm afraid nothing major will ever come in. It's a curse I tell you.

Then again, I also used to be concerned when nothing really grew on my downstairs for a while, but that changed pretty quickly.

Here's hoping that I'm just a late bloomer.

I like using a straight razor. It's fun using that brush to whip up the foam, get it nice and hot and paint your face with it. Sharpen up the blade with a good ole' fashioned strop. Pull your skin tight and try like hell not to Sweeney Todd yourself.

I use a razor and water, I think shaving cream is unnecessary. Apparently I shave like a boss according to some people I know.

Electric when I cba shaving or am running out of time, blades when I've got time on my hands after a nice shower.

For better quality use the blades, once in the direction of the grain, and the second time against the grain. It's supah smoos!

I use an electric razor for most days, but I'll pull out the normal razor for closer shaves if I have something important that day(like a job interview).
