On friday someone commented on me sitting very femine. So I Was wondering how my fellow escapists sit and what gender they are so I can prove that I'm not the only guy who sits with thier legs crossed! Or maybe I am... Doesn't matter onto the explaining of seating positions!
{imagine it on a chair not a excersise ball)Most common way to sit, but I find it very uncomfortable.
I know one person who actually sits like that and it seems very uncomfortable
THis is how I occasionally sit

THis is how I also sit
This is where one leg is at a 90 degree angle while you are sitting on the other one. This is how I was sitting when she said I sat feminely
(how my avatar is sitting)This is where you are essentially sitting on your feet with only your knees showing in the front

Legs crossed. I know it's not very manly and all, but I just slip into that stance by default. Dunno why.

I usually kneel, even when I'm sitting on a chair I tend to be in a kneeling position.
You'd be surprised how much ridicule I get for that.

Although I do also sit in every way listed above. And pretty much any way of sitting not listed above, if you can think of a certain way to sit, I sit that way.

EDIT: Also, I usually refer to the cross legged position as either "Indian Style" or "Criss-Cross Apple Sauce" since that's what we called it back in kindergarten.

At the moment I'm some sort of crouching, simply because it's really fuckin' cold in this room. Mostly I sit on one leg though.

Other than that though I do all of the above.
Changed sitting on two legs to kneeling because that's what I was getting at but didn't know the name of it.

I sit like that, but instead of sitting on my feet they're resting on top of my thighs.

Usually two legs, occasionally "cross legged", though usually it is just my ankles touching with my legs still at more or less 90 degree angles, not actual "Indian style" as it might have been called in my younger years.

Edit: Also, whoever thought you were sitting feminine is a jerk, you sit how you want to sit and don't listen to other people.

I don't kneel much, and I rarely make my legs cross like in the photo. However, I do a less extreme version of 'four legs' or whatever that one's called, sometimes go cross-legged, and do a P-shape where one leg is bent out then back in so the foot rests under the knee of my other leg.

I actually sit like that... well, I alternate between that and cross-legged. I have a big leather armchair in front of my TV, and it's incredibly comfortable for both stances.

EDIT: Crap. That was my 2000th post? That was in no way epic or memorable (apart from the armchair, which is both). I should really keep better track of my post count.

I often switch around if I'm sitting for a while. It also depends on the type of chair. I do naturally begin two-legged, but I then switch around after time passes.

And one hanging down, resting my chin on my knee.

Wow, I sit weird.
