Poll: How do you take your coffee?

Do you take your coffee or tea as a double-double triple-triple 4X4 or a good ol' fashioned black.

I'm just curious to see how other enjoy to drink their coffee or tea. I prefer mine black though on occasion I'll put 1 cream 1 sugar. What about you?

Edit: just end the confusion 1X1(or single single) is 1 milk 1 sugar and double-double=2milk 2sugar 4X4= 4milk 4sugar and so on. if you walk into any Tim Hortons and say any of those options it's what you get. I call it milk just because i like to confuse strangers on the internet. And i Tried to make the survey choices a varied as possible but it only lets you make so many options.

Could you add an "it varies" option? Depends on my mood and what's available. Won't drink coffee with just cream or just sugar, so standard is double-double or black. However, I occasionally go crazy and add cinnamon, pepper, honey and/or rosemary. Like I said, depends on my mood.

I used to do cream and sugar, just cream now. I don't use anything special, so I'm one step above just going plain black and no frills.

As a general rule I skip the traditional coffee in favor of instant cappuccino. Surprisingly enough, the Wal-Mart brand instant cappuccino is actually pretty tasty, so that's what I drink in the mornings... right before I have the cigarette that actually wakes me up.

in my case, i have an IV drip connected to my jura capresso machine
1-2 capuccinos in the morning
espressos the rest of the day and night

I ideally drink it 1.5 coffee units, and the rest milk (MILK mind you, I don't know what you American people call "cream" anymore but once someone told me it was cream as in extra-thick-extra-fat milk), and a squeeze of liquid saccharine, which always dissolves even if the coffee is cold because I'm a very busy man

However, a litre of coffee with some lemon juice and a fuckload of sugar proved to be exceptionally useful during exam season, two or three years ago. I'd maybe go for it again sometime.

I understand he refers to 2-3-4 times the coffee in an espresso, 1-1 being the equivalent of a spanish "Cortado" (a really small coffee with milk) but it beats me. Starbucks has literally destroyed my usual coffee name references.

...when I first was drinking it, nearly 20 years ago, I put enough sugar and cream in it to make it, essentially, a liquid coffee candy. If I tried to drink it like that now I'd likely gag.

I take my coffee black with 1-4 shots of espresso, depending on how much sleep I didn't get the night before.

Regular AKA 1 cream, 1 sugar. Black coffee is good, but the extra flavour from the cream / sugar helps in my opinion.
