I think Nuclear War will do it's part, but global civil unrest will be the spark. And the unrest will probably be caused by famine.

To be honest I've always had this almost sick desire to see the world end (I don't mean I want to end it) but part of me wants to stand there and watch. Just see what it is that finishes us off once and for all. And I have a sneaking suspicion that it might just happen in our lifetime. Opinions?

As the path that the earth takes around the sun gradually increase further away, the variations in our seasons as the core cools leads to the demise of humanity which would take tens of thousands of years provide evolution doesn't keep up with the changes but we will most likely destroy ourselves long before that.

I voted nuclear warfare in substitute of my real opinion: Total warfare. Not necessarily nuke, but we will fight amongst ourselves inventing better and better ways to kill each other until only a few people are left on an almost completely inhospitable planet, and they will be killed off by a small bout of sickness or something...

People aren't actually stupid enough to use go through with a massive scale nuclear war. A few individuals are, but on the whole, humanity isn't that stupid. We aren't likely to be the final cause of our own downfall.

Ummm most likely meteor or volcano (I.e. yellowstone....It explodes every 600000 years on average......it was 630000 years since it last erupted.).
