Poll: How do you think you would do in the world of Fallout 3?

I voted Option 4. The giant insects in the virtual world scare me enough as it is, I would freak if it was in real life. It's a phob.. stop laughing!

Plus, even though I think the game is outstanding, I didn't like the look. Gray all over, like they say. Yes, it's realistic but surely some paint survived the nuclear holocaust? I like the realism though.

Assuming I don't die, I'd be a loner, and hopefully meet up with a couple friends. I wouldn't join any of the already formed groups though.

I'd get the hell out of Fallout 3 and go to Morrowind instead, you n'wah.

I forgot to add a lot of options. Like Raiders or slavers maybe. Raiders would be another reason why no one would survive long in that world.

I'd scrounge around a few deserted areas and buy my way into Megaton. I'd be fine but I'd be aiming to survive, not kick arse and take names.

If it's exactly how it is in the game, I'm pretty sure I would be on my own. I had a house in Megaton but I never used it. I lived in the Gibson house in Minefield... no monsters were around so I could fast travel there whenever and it had plenty of room for my packs of cigarettes, mutilated limbs, and pre-war money. Oh, and it had beds and places for my weapons.

And the reason for the gray was it was supposed to show the dark monotony about being completely alone. See, normally when people think apocalypse they think the whole Mad Max style where yeah, you'd be alone but there were still other people. A lot of people think they could make it being alone but it showed the difficulties and tried to see how you could cope with it. That's why it was such a joy to have Dogmeat around and it also showed how desperate for companionship you were. When you take a step back and realize how less lonely you were when Dogmeat was around, it really hits you.

I would be a ghoul and own Tenpenny Tower and throw Alastar Tenpenny's body off the building like I usually do. Or I would just be a lone scavenger...well....I would probably have Fawkes.

I would probably hold up somewhere out in the middle of God-knows-where. I would probably shoot anyone that got anywhere close to my house that had a gun. I imagine I could handle it, I mean it's life. There would be nothing you could do to change it so why not live with it?

I doubt I'd last long at all! If I managed to be in the company of friends I think I would have the willpower to move forward and give myself (and my friends) the best possible life we could in the new environment, but if I didn't have friends around, I think I'd be dead pretty quickly.

Being born into that world and being thrown into that world are two entirely different things.

If I was born into that world I might make it by, seeing as it would be the only world I would have ever know.

Being thrown into that world? Dead in 5 minutes! I mean face it, society is way too spoiled and pussified today to handle such harsh realities.

Time to get a decent gun and B line it to the Brotherhood. They take recruits when they can (pre war knowledge would be an advantage) and give out sweet training (to whip my sorry ass into shape), armor (power armor kicks an untold amount of ass) and weapons (Laser rifles, frying someone with one makes life worth living). Now all I have to do is get there.

The Brotherhood really doesn't have the luxery of turning down recruits. They do give good training and gear though, but you have to fight hulking Super Mutants.

I'd try to get a non-combat job with the BoS.
