I got them quite frequently until I was about 10. In the last 7 years, I've had 2 or 3, all of which were related to being knocked. I guess over the years, I've learned to be a bit more careful.

And to keep my finger out of there.

My nose used to bleed a fair bit when I was younger (mostly due to various injuries), but it hasn't bled in years. Not always for lack of trying (I've had my fair share of being hit in the face), so I'm thinking that my blood vessels must have gotten tougher.

I used to have nosebleeds all the time, but then I-

It depends on the weather mostly now, but when I was a child I did on two occasions have to go to the doctors'. First time was when i woke up and I had bled through my matrass. Blood was dripping on the floor. By the time the Doctor came it had stopped, but i did feel dizzy.

Second time was at school, a couple of years back, I was in disagreement with a teacher (she was a religious nutjob who tried to force her religion on us, she got fired eventually). I was so mad I had a nosebleed. I never really get mad, that was one of the few time i got pissed off.

Between those, i regularly had nose period. Now, sporadically.

This is my very first reply ever after loads of time of lurking the escapist threads like a mythical creature in the forests that watches civilisation from afar! Like a Belgian. :p

Fairly easily because i have an allergy to ragweed pollen that makes my nose dry out during that season. It's gotten better over the years, but when it strikes i often get multiple nosebleeds a day as it rips open with every sneeze.

I've never had a nosebleed.

I always wanted to have one when I was a kid though. Everyone else seemed to get them on a regular basis except me.
I thought I was a freak.

Last time I had a nosebleed my brother was 2, now he is nearly 10. So not often.

I was making myself some crumpets at the time, opening a new packet and my brother pointed at my face and said `Bleed!` and I was a bit ticked off so I was like `Shh, I haven't got a bleed`.
Then I opened the crumpet packet and my nose gushed all over the new crumpets.
It was a sad day for lunch.

I recently had A LOT of nosebleeds -- nearly daily I tells ya. But that's mainly because of a medication I am currently taking. It was at its worst when I was having dinner over at a friend's house with lots of other friends... Just imagine, non stop bleeding for about 15-20 minutes. It did got my friends and their parent worried, and I was out of town that time.

But its been about a month for now since the last outbreak -- at a sushi restaurant... I end up making the restroom sink looked like its been used to cut some fresh meat...

...sorry for the gross post.

I just hope I can survive the last month of the treatment without further outbreaks.
