Fairly easily.

I'll jump at small things but I'm oddly able to stay calm in fearful or stressful situations.

I'm pretty good when it comes to horror games. I'd say a four on your scale, because for some odd reason i got really freaked out while playing gregory horror show. Strange that this of all games was the one that made me jump the most.

When there are "jump" scenes in games or movies, I end up jumping. It's just a reflex for me.

I rate myself at about a 4, since I've seen and been through some really tough and scary shit in real life.

Edit: But I do find the occasional game that makes a chill go up my spine and makes me say "Wtf?" out loud... and I live for those moments. Unfortunately, most games nowadays just go for cheap haunted-house thrills... can't even call them proper scares anymore.

I would have rated myself a 5...until I played 'Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth'

I'm not easily scared and I don't jump, but when something surprises me I do tend to tense up.

I jump out of instinct when things jump out of corners or whatever, but I don't find that scary, just annoying. Silly people thinking cheap reflexes count as horror...

I reckon I'm about a four on this scale. I can get creeped out by a good atmosphere, but I'm not wetting my pants or anything.

I can't even bring myself to finish Doom 3, let alone Dead Space or FEAR. But I want to finish them because they're decent games! I'm at a crossroads.

After five long hard years of journey, I've finally found someone who's arachnophobic as well. Not just arachnophobic as well, I had a pretty hard time adjusting to Fallout 3 because of all the ants and cockroaches.

And oh, I really really really have to try Call of Cthulhu.

Jesus. I thought I was the only one who had trouble with the insects in Fallout 3.

Stop secretly being me.

You're the copycat!

In that fire ant quest in Fallout 3, where you have to fight the queen ant, I equipped the Shishkebab, closed my eyes charged forward and just kept attacking it till it died.

Me, I can't believe no one has a problem with the insects.

Only game that's really creeped me are the Penumbra games. So that kicks me down from a 5 to a 3.

I'm not bad usually.

If I start getting scared, I just talk to myself, openly mock everything, play loud metal music, or just run past everything. Like I did in FEAR 2 and Ravenholm. Good times.

But I suppose we'll see, since I should be getting the supposedly-scary Alan Wake soon.
