Hiya escapists.

[sub]In keeping with my theme of asking people about weird and/or trivial aspects of their lives, I have decided today is time to ask you about pants.[/sub]

Tell me: For how many days in a row will you normally wear a pair of pants[footnote]Trousers for you British folks, I guess.[/footnote]?
[sub]To flesh out your post some more: What kind of pants do you normally wear? What kind do you prefer to wear?[/sub]

I think I normally wear my jeans for 3 or 4 days at a time.

I'll swap out which ones I'm wearing, but I won't wash any of them until they're visibly dirty, i.e. something stains or is spilled on them. I'm sure there's more than one pair I haven't washed in weeks, probably months.

So... a long time?

Jeans. Wow shit, like a month?
I dunno, I only notice when they get dirty or I think about it.

When I had to wear suit trousers for Sixth Form, once every week/fortnight, depending.

Wait, there's people don't change their pants everyday? D:

I'm never shaking hands with anyone again.

Hmm, on average I'd say every two days.

Unfortunately I don't have many clothes so I essentially go through it all in the course of a week.

I assume you're referring to underpants, like I thought until I read the OP.
Unless, that is, you only wear jeans for a day at a time? o_O
Also, always wanted to ask, how come your name's red?

I usually change my jeans every 3 days, I change my shirt everyday even if it's not dirty. I assume most people change their T-shirt everyday.

Keep your American pants to yourself. As for me I change my "pants" every 3-4 days on average.

Actual underwear is every day.

I change my trousers every 2-3 days, although sometimes I keep jeans on for longer, as when I get home and I know I'm not going to leave it until the next day I change into PJ's or tracksuit bottoms.

Underwear gets changed every day.

It's funny because the OP is clearly Norwegian.

I try to wear only about 2 or 3 times on non consecutive days before washing. Pretty much always jeans, khakis for anything that hints at formality but doesn't require a suit. I know, very American. I just can't pull off red pants like you Europeans can (I'm green with envy though).

Pretty much this for me too. At times, I go every other day. I'll wear a blue pair one day, the next day I'll wear a black pair and by day three, I'm back to the blue.

I'm not one to wash until 7 days or so has passed. Or else there's a horrible stain.

About four days. Same goes for shirts. And here's the thing- I don't shower in between or take my clothes off when I sleep.

I'm pretty fucking filthy by anyone's standard.

Clearly? How so?
I don't proclaim my nationality every chance I get. Only almost.

I wonder if I could pull off red pants.
I have both purple, blue, and green pants, but no red ones.

Think I could do it if they were skinny.

Seconds after writing that last sentence, it dawned on me that I've been wearing red overalls for the last 17 days... durrr

I think red name = job in the games industry of some description. Chemical Alia's is Environmental Artist at Gearbox for example. Seen it a couple of other times before as well

Anyway, more on topic, underwear every day, trousers every 2-4 days depending on what I've been doing.

Change my pants? HA! You wish!
I've had this pair on for 10 years straight and I don't care if there is an aura of smell surrounding me which people avoid in the street or that I can legally exist as a walking biohazard or that the results have yielded a skidmark so powerful it closes my buttocks shut with more strength than any adhesive known to man, beast or alien that tears 5 layers of skin when I lower them to defecate. I'M LIVING MY OWN LIFE DAMMIT SO STOP JUDGING ME!

Oh...You mean Trousers. Erm... Somewhere between four days and a week (or just when I notice them getting dirty)

Exactly this. Standards, people.
o_O

Are you saying you wash a pair of jeans after one day of wear?
