Just a little experiment here. I wonder if we have a realistic view on our English-skills, both grammar and the ability to make sentences that others actually enjoy reading. If we do, about the same amount of people should vote 'less than average' and 'better than average'. I suspect there will be more 'better than'-voters, but maybe this sentence will change that. 
Note: this topic is only about writing, since that's pretty much the only real way we can judge eachother. So if you think you write way better than the rest of us, but you can't pronounce a single English word without making people laugh at you; go for the 'better than' option.
