Im a lefty, my handwriting is BAD. Im the reason official forms need to be filled out in block capitals, cos most people wouldnt stand a chance of reading anything complex. Looking back at work I did at GCSE that had to be hand written I cant read half of it.

My (manuscript) handwriting has been charitably referred to as "chicken scratch" on occasion, while my cursive simply causes people's heads to explode once they figure out that it's supposed to be actual writing.

My favorite times are when someone takes a sheet of paper covered with my notes, flips it completely over, and they holds it up to a light in a vain attempt to make out some of the letters on it. It probably doesn't help that I used to use my own arcane system of shorthand, either ~_~

When I REALLY need to, I can write things reasonably neatly, but my writing speed slows to about 1/5 of normal speed -- I reserve this for times when there is no time restriction whatsoever on my scribbles.

I have excellent handwriting when I put effort into it but I write three times quicker when I'm sloppy.

It is impossible to read until you have seen how I write every letter. Then you can understand it, but during the first two months of a new class, I have to translate it for the teacher.

I can read my handwriting. And that's all that matters really.

[sub]After all, I don't want anyone stealing my secrets.[/sub]

Edit: ...for reference, one of my teachers once described an exam script I handed in as `looking like someone had thrown up all over the page'.

I can write quite well (not caligraphy level, but definitely well enough to be considered "pretty" or whatever the term is), but it takes a conscious effort on my part. If I'm just trying to write whatever it is and don't care about making it look nice, it's perfectly legible, but it gets messy quickly.

And I can't write in a straight line to save my life. I've no idea why, but unless I'm writing on lined paper, my writing starts horizontal and as I move towards the right it starts to curve downwards.

Mines pretty good. Also, I don't think some of us are helping the Gamer Stereotype... I kid, I kid.

Mines very neat. My other friend has cursive and is illegible but seriously neat.

Terrible, my handwriting is just terrible. That's a part of why I like online forums as a means of communication, less strain on my hands and less crappy handwriting for people to see.
