Poll: How great of an idea is this?!?! (or Skyrim and how Bethesda could release the greatest beta EVA)

Very simple idea I heard on their Facebook page about the facial comparisons from Morrowind to Skyrim...

What if Bethesda released the character editor, and only the character editor as a pre-release treat? Good idea? Bad idea?

What if you could then use these characters once you have the game, cutting down on start up time?

What if they charged like 5 bucks?

Me? I'm all fucking for this. I think it would be a great teaser to entice people on the fence into getting it to use their creations fully. Not to mention a nice way for Bethesda grab a tidy little windfall.

It's not a bad idea, and if people want it then Bethesda probably should do it, but I personally don't see the appeal.

That'd be a great idea. I would even coff up some money for it. Hell, I remember buying Fable II casino minigame before the actual game was released, and frankly I still regret today. Now for the Elder Scrolls, it'a different story altogether.

Didn't Bioware do that for Dragon Age Origins? I'm totally up for it. Also, maybe a DLC package that lets you change you facial appearance if you aren't totally satisfied with it.

Apparently from the above post, Dragon Age did it, too. And I never really tried Spore, so, yeah. Sorry. I retract the innovative part.
