I don't know, I don't really care about being happy because I feel that it would lead to complacency and I'd rather be miserable and strive to be better all my life than feeling happy and conforming to what I have, I don't know if that's a popular opinion but I don't really care about being happy.

I ain't happy, I'm feeling glad. I got sunshine in a bag. I'm useless, but not for long... the future... is coming on.

Pretty good at the moment. Happy, comfortable and contented. I enjoyed a day off and now I'm relaxing with a nice cup of tea. It's the little comforts.

50/50, leaning more to unhappy. When one bad thing happens with me, shit just piles up on top of it for a month or two.

In general, I try to stay on the positive to neutral side.
Today is rough though.
The dealership has had my car for 10 days. I have been calling every day for updates. For the first five days they wouldn't even aknowlege they had my car. I had to get the towing company to call them and actually send the driver over to point out the vehicle before they would begin looking at it. I sent it to the dealership because my batteries have been draining excessively quickly. I even sat down and did a measurement of the system draw with a multimeter, confirmed the issue, then decided to have it towed to the dealership.

Today, I finally got someone to talk to me about my car. They told me that the mechanics had descovered that the electrical system's draw rate was above the listed specification. They will need more time to isolate the component that is causing it by removing each component and testing the over all system draw.

...

I already knew this. It is why I sent my car in. In the time it has taken them to not give me an ETA or cost estimate, I could have diagnosed the issue myself without ever removing a single component. Every unit in the electrical system is an FRU. Each one has test points. I just need to use a multimeter and compare draw to the module spec.

This is not a difficult procedure.

I have been without a vehicle for a week and a half and they haven't started the actual troubleshooting yet.

Outside this incident, the week has been pretty rough on my mood. I've been more or less fighting depression. I am occupying myself mostly by writing on forums or having conversations, but most of my friends/roomates are working durring the hours I am free and I have no means of travel.

I'm hanging in there, but i'd be lying if i said I was doing well

You want me to motivate my answers? I'm sure your English is far better than my Swedish, I'm not trying to be a dick about it, but I don't think that's quite the right word to use there.

How happy am I? I dunno, maybe a 13-14 out of 20. Everything's fine I s'pose. Burned my brain out with lots of drugs over a long period of time, so everything's "alright I guess" no matter how well or badly things seem to be going.

Decidedly unhappy at the moment, but that is a quite unusual condition in my case. The question has simply caught me at a bad time.

As for my normal emotional state, here's a hint. One of the most common nicknames others use for me is "Spock"

Outside of worrying about midterms, I'd say that I'm reasonably happy. I may not jump around the room singing songs about how happy I am, but I'm still happy enough that I'm almost always in a good.

I am content. Things haven't gone how I had planned they would go but I'm not in a bad spot, all things told.

I'm extremely happy.
My studies are going great, soon I'll get a job, I'm moving in with my girlfriend sometime January, I finally got started on my book, I've left all my social issues behind me, and I have great plans for the future towards which I'm actively striving.
Things are great, and on their way to get even better.

All in all, life is awesome.

I've felt better. It's Monday and let's just say it has not been all too kind to the ol' Z.

Still doing work at the moment, really wish I was home doing anything else.

Balls.

50/50. I'm happy about what I've accomplished thus far in life. I'm happy because I have a lot of time to relax. I'm happy for the future. I'm unhappy with my acne, I'm unhappy with my social anxiety, I'm unhappy with my fears that I'm not going to be able to do some things, I'm unhappy that I can't meet someone. Things could be a lot worse, but they could stand to be a bit better too...

I am, most of the time, content. And content is hugely underrated. Lately I'd say I tend towards happy, which is great. I wish I was a little more productive at times, but that's often the case.

I am incredibly fortunate to have a family that loves me and no dire unfulfilled material needs. I have space and time to do fulfilling creative work, and friends who enjoy my company. The only thing I have to dread is that as I continue to age certain relatively minor health problems may assert themselves into more dangerous or taxing ones, and that's pretty much a universal.

My life is good, and I am grateful.

I had a huge fight with my husband today, and it's not something we do very often, but it's left me in a state of emotional drain. Not to mention battling on forums, and having to clean my entire house because I was sick for a week. I'd say I'm more unhappy at the moment, despite the fact that my life is going really well at the moment. I'd like to get out of this funk, but it's difficult.
I hope it passes quickly for you.

If you're going to quote a song that Damon Albarn sings about being happy, you might as well quote from his first one. ;)

As for me personally, I might need the power of electricity to get back on the happy course. But we'll see.
