Poll: How Influential is "Yahtzee" to you?

Considering that in 13ish hours, a 24 second cock-slap in all of our faces has around 600 responces to it, I'm guessing that there are at least a handful of people that are aware of Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw, one of the Net's most famous Internet Game Critics. And for those of you who aren't aware of him,

But seriously, since he's been reviewing for quite a while (and he's obviously doing something right to be making money and popularity for his wacky voice, commentary and Imps for 5 minutes on a yellow back ground once a week), what do you guys think of Yahtzee?

All of the options seem to be either, he has some influence on your opinions of a game, or you don't like him, there's no option for liking him and him not having an influence. I think he's hilarious, and I can't wait for each new video to come out every week... but I have a tendency to disagree on most points. I feel a lot of it comes from the fact that I have rarely cared about the story of a game, whereas for him it's always one of his biggest concerns.

PS. I also love superpowered Space Marines gunning down hordes of nameless, faceless aliens.
PPS. I also love casual games.

I never base a purchase off of what he says but I still find him absolutly hilarious as most do, hell even my sister loves his reviews! But in his review of games I have and enjoyed I agreed with every complant that he has ever mentioned, but have never been more than a little annoyed by them. I guess I'm a little more forgiving than the loony Brit.

Sorry for not properly representing your option. I thought people with different view points would pick the options of liking a game based on what you like and not what anyone else says. I'm a bad person... ;.;

he is really funny, but i dont take anyones reviews super seriously, if i see a game that looks at all interesting to me i do some research watch gameplay videos then buy it if i like it.

I think he's pretty damn funny, but I generally buy games that I already have a vested interest in. Nobody has influence over my desicions, except for Saints Row 2. That was bought almost completely on Yahtzee's reccomendation.

I have to admit I have been more cynical towards games in the 2 years of watching him but it is for the better as I can now more easily determin a good game from a bad game.

I find him funny as hell, and alot of times I agree with him on the laws. As for him influencing my purchases, not really. He is a critic, not a reviewer(at least in my opinion).
