You need an "other" option.
In fact grey and gray mean different things.
Gray is more of the simple color, with no shades or tints - just simple, default gray.
Grey is more of the complex, abstract meaning - used when relating to morality and stuff like that.
actually they are interchangable: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/grey?r=75
yay someone used a dictionary. I was looking through the thread thinking isn't it just easier to, i don't know, open the oxford english dictionary. Hand shake to you good sir.
Also i don't trust spell check as its grammer correction thing is just awful. It can't actually recognise half the words in the english language.

it gets lonely up here on the joint pedestals of reason and knowledge around these parts.

I've never seen anyone spell it with an A.

So obviously, I use E.
Are you british? In America you are spelling it wrong if you say 'grey'
I beg your pardon! I nearly spilled out all my tea and I think I dropped my monocle. Oh, there it is. Inside my tophat!

No, I'm not british. I'm from Sweden, but we are taught British English in school so...
