My last time was probably 12 years ago. Used to play Jurassic Park 2, and also a Beach Volleyball game. And that was it.
Once I spent the equivalent to 20 Euros to finish Cadillac and Dinosaurs.

Arcades kind of died 13 years ago.
Go visit Japan. Then say that again :p

EDIT: Oh, and before I forget. About six months ago. In Japan.

I am headed out to an arcade tomorow night in fact. $10 entrance fee, all the games are on free play. Good times.

At the bowling alley about 20 minutes away, they have an arcade section with some good games like House of the Dead 3 and 4 and Time Crisis. However it has been several years since I visited a proper arcade

Funnily enough I actually played today at TimeZone (an arcade in Singapore I don't know if its anywhere else). I played Tekken 6 against a friend (I was randomly button-mashing he knew his stuff. It was funny) and I also played AfterBurner something (its a jet fighter sim thing). Oh I also played Time Crisis 2...that game rocks, played it with my friend again and we had a great time. Though if I'm at an arcade I'm more likely to play Air Hockey (played today...I'm reigning champ among friends. Beat one 7-3 and the other 7-0 {Despite originally losing 7-6 to him} yes I do gloat I love Air Hockey). I'll also play a basketball game thing where you shoot hoops to score points. Played against friends...it was really awesome. I forgot how much I loved Arcades (before today hadn't played in one for about a year).

Arcades... Man, I go there in the summer, and believe me.

GHOST SQUAD IS THE BEST ARCADE GAME TO PLAY WITH A FRIEND TODAY!

Calumon: Okay... Did you have to shout?

We all know that the popularity of arcades pretty much died with the eighties. However, some arcades do still exist. When was the last time you played an arcade game?

I can't even remember the last time I played an arcade game. I do believe it was at a Dave and Busters, though. Anyone know the one where you pilot mechs in an actual cockpit while facing a lot of other people? That thing was freakin' cool.
Your poll lacks a few alternatives. Perhaps one/two " X Year's ago" options would be in order?

It's been so freaking long. I think it might've been in...7th grade. Or 4th. One of the two. xD

I'd say last summer (2009) when I went to P.E.I and the camp site I went to (which I always go to every year) has a arcade right under the....what do you call it "gathering hall"? I think anyways it always has some good games two years ago it had Metal Slug 4 and the Simpsons Arcade

About a year ago. I kicked some ass at a racing game and then me and a friend played this hunting game with lightgun shotguns (which were awesome).

I think 2 or 3 years ago. My friends were super-obsessed with Initial D 3. I played a bit, but then realized how stupid it is to spend so much money on something in an uncomfortable setting when you could just as easily save up to buy it for a console or PC. My friend seriously spent $20+ a week on that.

It was two years ago and it was house of the dead #?. And arcades are very rare now a days, which is a shame because I love me some pinball!
Win. The most recent thing I played was House of the Dead 2, sometime last month. They had 3 and 4, but I still like 2 the most because that's what they based Typing of the Dead on.

It's hard to find good pinball machines that are well maintained these days unless you know someone in the secret pinball cult, which I'm only slightly joking about. I used to know someone whose neighbor collected them and had dozens set up in his basement, and they had semi-regular tournaments, which I went to one of a few years ago. I was horrible compared to the guys who played regularly, but it was still fun.

It's probably been nearly 15 years since I spent time in arcades on a regular basis. I remember playing stuff like Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, Area 51, Point Blank, etc. when they were new, and I was even pretty good at some of them (but not so much anymore), but I got kind of disillusioned when games started costing more than a quarter to play and I could play the same kind of stuff at home without having to keep feeding money into the thing. It's mostly gone downhill since then.

I made this thread almost half a year ago. Cut me some slack, would you?

And fine, I'll add it.

Played one of the Time Crisis games (I think it was 3) in a nearby amusement park about a year ago.
