Gamespot doesn't really run like that. I think Yahtzee offers some real insight, if in a somewhat psychotic manner, about the games and their content. A game review site like Gamespot just wants to inform the viewer of how good or bad the game is. It would be like reading a newspaper article that's been written in the form of a beat poem.

I think if you give him the sledge hammer form Red Faction he will get along perfectly

but the real question is

"How long will he last at IGN ?"

Considering he compared Gamespot employees to "people who put people's balls in their mouths" I highly doubt he'd work there at all. Last option.

He'd kill them all. Seriously.

[/thread]

(Not that he'd be stupid enough to work there anyway...)

People are giving too little credit to both Gamespot and Yahtzee (none of which I particularly like). Gamespot could benefit from Yahtzee the same way The Escapist benefits from him. They'd hand him games, he'd "review" them in his usual style, and upload the video. Simple as that. the only catch is that Gamespot would only have to give him games that don't have some asinine contract with them (like the Gamespot fiasco of, I think, Kane & Lynch)

yea i agree, with that approach, no problem :) otherwise, he would turn in sick on day 1 :p
on contrary, I reckon if they gave him a chainsaw and a lisence to kill, he wouldn't last long in Gamespot... or rather, Gamespot wouldn't last long against Yahtzee :p

Yahtzee is already miles ahead of those losers. I know that his reviews are not good for consumer advice but neither is anything on Gamespot. All they do is assign arbitrary ratings to unfinished games and felate the biggest advertisers. Don't believe me? go read their reviews on MGS4 GTA4 and Halo 3, then thou shalt perceive that Gamespot is a glorified advertising service.

Well with Yahtzee's popularity, and Gamespot's hunger for traffic, money, etc. - he'd be there as long as he would want to be there. They would probably only give him "unpopular" games to review though.

-and the only thing I know about Seanbaby, is that he would not work at Gamespot.

he would have to decrease in intelligence and become a 360 whore, that gives 9.5 scores to 360 titles, but when the same title is realesed on ps3, then it only deserves a score of 8.5.

seriously, those guys have to be in debt to bill gates, either that or that Microsoft would fuck up their computers if they dont give every 360 exlusive title a 7.5 or higher score.
