I'd be really hurt and pissed off, then move on and just have a good time with my true friends. Also, what do you mean by the poll? How long would we wait to what?

depending on the situation you can start over again, it's not like you can't try again.

I'd ask what the hell happened.

I was in a similar situation, and waited a year for an answer. I was not happy with the answer, but it was one nonetheless. I then continued on with my life.

If I haden't seen or talked to someone in a year, I probably wouldn't consider them my friends anymore. But as far as seeing them without me it would be fine. My two closest friends do stuff without me all the time. (in fact the last time I did something [you know actually did something. and both of them] with them it was July, and It was only because I accidentally found out.) Shit, I am a fucking loser.

That sounds like one of those gangs in an RPG where one NPC always has the line of dialogue "Yeah, he's the leader. Killed the last guy. That's how things work around here."

Actually thats really close to how i became leader. before me it was this preppy kid three grade levels above us. He tried to hit on the girl i had feelings for (never went anywhere, but she's in a relationship with my best friend), so I beat his head in and almost drove him to the ER room.

I've actually had more or less the same thing happen to me only not at a nightclub. XD

I was hurt at first, but mostly because I have a bit of an odd view towards people ditching me. I don't care if people hate me so long as they have a reason. My best friend for six years decided all the sudden to hate me without being man enough to confront me about it himself and just dropped all contact and gave several different reason for hating me. I ran into him when I was hanging out with some friends and he couldn't even look me in the eye. Now it doesn't bother me, but it did annoy me that I never found out why he ditched me.
