Poll: How many forums do you regularly visit?

Not counting Reddit (I frequent about a 8-10 subreddits), this is the only one. I sometimes go onto the Steam and GOG forums. I used to frequent some Linux distros' forums, but tame ones like the Ubuntu and Linux Mint forums were still too overrun with people who made the Battlefield forums around the time of a CoD release look friendly.

The Escapist is the only forum I visit. Really it's because I haven't been given an incentive nor reason to go anywhere else. Sure, most of the reasons to come here have dried up over the last few years, but I still don't have sufficient reason to leave yet. Now if someone could convince me that it would be worth it to me to join another forum I might, but I don't see anyone here doing that any time soon.
Only here, I use Facebook which in my opinion has become more of a Forum than Social Media these days...
But the reason I don't have multiple ones is that I came here a long time ago, from a galaxy far far away, and I liked it here and this place gave me everything I needed, so I had no need to search up other forums. The times I've visited other forums is when there are links to other forums here, or friends link something from somewhere else (via Facebook or WhatsApp).
So for me, if there was a need for other forums, I'd be there, but all the news I need I get from here. The entertainment things aren't as important for me anymore. I enjoyed it a lot back in the day when I had 1 or 2 videos a day to watch here, but these days I look for news on upcoming movies, games and other interesting info. And I think quite many people here are on other forums, so if it doesn't pop up in the news section, a user is going make a thread about it.

I still hang about on here but more and more I use reddit these days. I'm mostly about on r/Gunners and r/soccer for my sports-related interests and on r/patientgamers and their Discord since it's by far my favourite gaming-related subreddit on there.

Mostly Reddit though I come here semi-regularly now too. Sometimes I look at NeoGAF but it's become so rotten it's not funny anymore.
Finally, I love Giant Bomb's content, but their community, forums and mods are cancer, it's depressing how bad it is.
I used to be very active in Gamespot's forums, System Wars was a lot of fun for how silly it was. I might check it out again someday.

This forum is all I need, it fulfills all my wants nicely. Though I did prefer when it was busier, there was just more to talk about than nowadays. The E is the only forum I've ever actually joined, and I'll be quite upset if it disappears on me. I have very few people to talk games and nerdy stuff with in the real world and this is an outlet for it that I frankly need in my life.
This forum primarily, though I selected 2 because I do occasionally find other forums that have interesting stuff for a day or two.
Mostly just here. I recently signed up to gamefaqs which has been an... interesting experience. I have to consciously filter out quite a few people there to get to some interesting conversations.
Pretty much just this. I feel like forums aren't what they used to be, maybe because most people have moved onto social media like Facebook, so it seems like the average user on most forums is just someone that wants to bump their post count without directly talking to anyone. Just look at all the people who only post on 10 page threads like "what's your favorite movie?" with insightful comments like "i like 2 fast 2 furious", not really adding anything.

You can actively put them on your ignore list. Also, there is a tag feature you can use which I find just great - you can tag people with your impressions of them and the tag will show up with their posts. Additionally, you can follow people if you are interested in their posts - it will highlight their names.-Dragmire- said:
I try not to ignore people too much as I have some hope that even rude disruptive people can spur an interesting dialogue. I do like the idea of a follow feature though. I'll look into that, thanks!DoPo said:
