I've been having sleeping issues lately, so I haven't gotten more than three hours of sleep in a night in over a month, but normally I get about six or seven.

Ideally? 10-11 hours, waking up maybe around 11 am. Typically? Around six hours.

Monophasic, it seems. Falling asleep at other points of the day just feels weird.

I normally go to sleep pretty early at like 9-10 o' clock and wake up at 7... so a good 9-10 hours on weekdays. On weekends I stay up later and wake up later... I'm pretty much normal and boring.

Defiantly a monophasic person. As for hours it depend on when I go to bed because I seem to wake up at 4:30-5:00am no mater what. I usually call it a day at about 9:00pm so about 8 hours. On Holidays like Thanksgiving and such about 3-4 hours.

10:30 till 7:30 on a school day.

12:00 till some random time on a weekend or holiday.

And yeah, im a Monophasic, wish i was an uberman though, that would be weird.
You want to be an uberman just because it's got the "uber-" prefix right? You know you do.
There goes my secret.

and also that you can spend so much more time doing stupid things, it would last for me though.

With school, about 7-8 hours. Without, about 10-12, unless I'm staying up really late (as in until 5, which only happened once or twice).

Also, generally monophasic, though if I'm tired I'll take a nap.

In holidays, go to bed 'bout 1 wake up around the same time. So 12 hours.

School, bed around 11 wake up 7. So that's 8

Weekends, bed around 1 wake up 9ish, 8 hours again.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm monophasic.

When I'm not at school: 10-12 hours...easily
When I am: 5-6 hours...

I like to catch up on weekends for lost sleep ;)
Oh, and apparently I'm monophasic...

Weeknights, generally 4-5 hours, a little less if I end up watching something on TV (alarm goes off at 5:20am).

Weekends is dependant on what i've got to do and what i'm doing during the night. If it's a completely lazy weekend i'll easily get 12-14 hours in, if I got shit to do during the day then a solid 8-9 hours, if i'm out on the beer 0-3 hours. :)

On a school night, I generally get about 5-6 hours sleep.

Damn the Internet.

Otherwise, about 9-10 hours.

I'm totally changing mine to "Uberman" just so that I can say that I am an "Uberman"
I was just thinking the same.

On school days I usually sleep about six or seven hours, going to bed midnightish and getting up sevenish. During weekends I might sleep for 12, maybe 13 hours, though. Also, I take naps on random days, does that make me part mono- part biphasic?

<spoiler=First post! Just a warning: It's quite long, especially since most of you are apparently half asleep alot of the time --click anyway-- :p>I've had sleeping issues since I first hit the teenage years. Initially blamed on the invisible evil known as 'hormones', but since I still suffer from abysmal insomnia no-one really knows the cause. Doctors, specialists, crazy hippies and their smoldering vegitation - all were stumped.

I tend to get about 2 to 4hrs when I have college the next morning which is especially irritating since I'm an 'older student' which basically means when I turn up looking half dead it gives the lecturers (or as I like to call them 'inflated-self-importance-teachers') the excuse to lay into me about setting a bad example and segueing into a vent of their general frustrations with life; despite the fact that I still manage to fuction perfectly fine, or better, than the young-uns /end elaborate tangent.
Thankfully 2 out of 5 days a week are counted as 'study days' meaning that on those days attendance isn't mandatory and I can try to catch up on sleep. Still don't manage more than the supposed average of 8hrs though; not drifting off till gone 6am-ish.

My holidays go to total shit however. Take the three(!) weeks I've got over christmas. My sleeping has slowed down to 8-10hrs every 48hrs. That is I go almost two days before being able to sleep. I've yet to resort to pills though (slight phobia).

Anyways in terms of pattern I'm not sure if I understand what the graphs represent correctly (lack of intelligence and sleep are an ever present hinderence) but I think I'm biphasic?

I tend to have about a half hour of some sort of bizarre nightmarish half-conciousness that causes me to shout myself awake(disturbing as I'm not always sure if the shouting really happened and/or if it actually did come from me), lay awake for an hour or so and then finally settle into actual sleep.

Erm... yeah that's it... thanks for reading my rather strange first post - I really didn't register just to vent this weirdness. Really I didn't.

On weekdays I sleep 7-8 hours. On weekends it is very similar, maybe 8-9 hours a night. I cannot sleep, even during the holidays, past maybe 10 or 11 in the morning. I feel like i'm wasting the day...well, wasting my precious gaming hours anyway. I'm a morning and a night person. But not an afternoon. Afternoons are strange :S
