Poll: How many Hours of play time do you tend to average?

Looking at my Steam Library (because I don't have an "Hours Played" for my non-Steam games) I myself tend to average around 30-40 hours of play time per game with the 3 exceptions of Killing Floor, Spiral Knights and Terran Conflict, which are in the area of 180-200 Hours Played.

Just using Steam games, I have a total of 937.55 hours logged. My first thought, was fuck, how do I have a job/friends/girlfriend and still play this much. Second thought was fuck, I've done some gaming while my connection was down, so the overall number is gonna be higher.

66 titles on the Steam list= 14.20 hours per game as an average.

I play Total War though, so that takes up a huge chunk.

It really does depend on the game Skyrim has 250 odd hours clocked while other games, not so much.

I put 60+ as I seem to have more over that number than not at a glance.

Yep I'm with BloatedGuppy on this one. It depends entirely on the game so I can't answer this.

Them two are correct. I have played Minesweeper for less than 10 hours. I have played Morrowind for probably 60 hours or maybe more. I played Unreal 2 for perhaps 10 hours. How am I to get the average of that?

Depends on the game, I've probably played a 1000+ hours of BFME2 and it's expansion, while I've only played 2 hours of Portal

I went for 30-40 as the games i tend to favour are big open world games that can never be fully completed. However if some one plays games which are linear then wont how long they play it just depend on the length of a game? depening on how difficult the games is and how keen the person is to collect all the little secrets and stuff.

Average 10-20 hours. If it's a multiplayer that I really get into though - many more. I've played 300+ hours of TF2 and many thousands of Halo 3 games.

Single-player RPGs: 50-120 hours, depending on the game.
Multiplayer games: Hundreds of hours, sometimes thousands of hours (WoW, Warcraft 3, CoD4).

Depends what game. I rarely have the interest or time to play through an entire single player game any more, but I tend to spend a lot more time afk in WoW between raids, or MoBAs.
I'm sure I've spent more than a few thousand hours in WoW since its release.

I played Connect 4 (4 in a line) for about 3 hours once. I've also played Tag! and Stuck in the Mud for a good few hours.

I think the longest I've ever played a game though was Hide and Seek with my brother a few years back when I lived in Kent...

...as far as anyone in Wales is aware, I don't have a brother. xD (haha I so funny!)

FPS's I get tired of very easily, so ten hours at most.
RPG's I'll play enough to make my eyes bleed once and then I'll lose interest.
TBS's I'll play until I could potentially get a stroke, sometimes.
