Was it a good movie? Hell no, it was terrible!

Did it deliver on the one thing I asked it for, some good, if very stupid, fun. Yes, yes it did. So even though it was, in all honesty, a pretty bad movie, I enjoyed it.

Critics are famous for being too snide most times. Its almost like they're professional hipsters.

Pirates 4 was good, no other movies are really doing what they do and I love me some pirates and mythological stuff. What they need to do is trim down on the extra bullshit no one wants. Cruz was argueably useless and could have easily been written out of the film. The mermaid and missionary udesputably should have been removed.

The movies should just focus on what everyone comes for and what is their strength, the colorfull pirates and the adventures. Pointless love plots really just slow them down

It had Ian "Al Swearengen" McShane in it. Of course I enjoyed it. I imagined an alternate reality where during one of his Blowjob soliloquies Al Swearengen decided the whole illegal saloon owner thing wasn't working out, so he built a time machine and adopted a life of piracy.
