Poll: How many people play TF2 here?

So the new update is out, I just got the game recently and was wondering, who here on the Escapist is playing it?

I have really been enjoying the new addition of all these players, makes playing spy just like when it first came out ;D

Sure I do, and i like that it's free to play, too. Even got a friend to start playing yesterday, i think he played till 4 o'clock and then realized he has driving school at 8 in the morning. So, yeah. I think he liked it. But i couldn't have gotten him to play it before, no way in hell he would have bought it.

Got it in October 2010, been playing for 471 hours total so far (not quite 20 days STRAIGHT if I didn't take breaks, have a life or sleep). Might look at getting more Spy practice in with the new blood, give Sniper a break (105.4 hours).

I haven't played in a long long while. I think the last time I played was when they released the sniper pack.

It's awesome, and new players are always welcome.
Don't know why everyone whines about the new players. If they're so bad, you can beat them. If they're on your team, just tell them what to do?

But enough off topic: I play and I'm loving it.

I think I might try it again. I bought it about a year back and couldn't get into it because I sucked so bad. But now I'm thinking that there are probably going to be a lot of other noobs as well, so maybe it will be more fun for me.

i just picked it up from the free to play i had it before on xbox but traded it in

so far ive got 17 hours as the pyro

I downloaded it but I haven't played yet. If/when I do play, I'll play a couple matches with bots to get used to the controls before joining the online community.

Hopefully I don't run into douchebags who grief F2P players because of Valve's decision to make it F2p.

I don't see the point of the hat thing either.

I pick it up every once in a blue moon. It's one of those games that I don't play everyday but whenever I launch it up I can easily blow through multiple hours at a time.

Eh, I play it. Only played three hours total since I first got it. Before it went free to play. Now I've added nine more hours to that.
I'm actually enjoying it now, unlike before.

On the topic of the new update: The One Thousand and One Demoknights set is absolutely fun to use.

Not as much as I want to, but TF2 becoming F2P is coinciding with my soon to be purchased laptop, so I can finally play it without as much lag.
