It used to be consistently 7 hours per night, but now I work nights and my body is throwing a paddy. Some days I don't sleep at all, other times I've slept 26 hours in a row. I seem to get about an average of six hours sleep though, which for some reason really takes it's toll on me, but 7 is a peaceful rest.

Ah body, you so crazy.

For the most part I usually have about 2 hours sleep a day however every now and again I end up sleeping for incredibly long time spans including a couple of occasions where I slept through entire days.

My body is used to operating on somewhere between five and six hours kip a night. Sometimes it's as little as four, sometimes as much as seven (if I want a lie-in), but five to six hours is more than enough to recharge the batteries.

Not enough, I go to bed around 12.30-1.00 am and it takes to around 2.00 am before I'm asleep.
I have to get up at 7.30 so that is 5.30 to 6 hours.
Weekends are worse because I always fool myself into thinking I can sleep in, so a go to bed around 3.00-4.00 AM and around 8.00 I really need to get up to get the kids dressed and fed. Mondays I usually work from home instead of the office, so that's no sooner as 2.00 AM to bed, and out at 7.30 (again to get the kids ready, work starts at 9.00).

All in all way to little sleep, before the kids I used to average around 8.00 hours.

But hey, it's all my own damn fault for not going to bed at a more reasonable hour, so I'm not complaining.

I usually have a hard time falling asleep, and even sleeping through the night without waking up; even if I take melatonin capsules. I tend to fall asleep around 11:00p.m. in the evening and wake up at 5:50 a.m.to start my day. Chances are, I've woken up and fallen back asleep two, three, or even four times during the night. So nearly eight hours, if you don't count the interruptions.

I usually get a good 6 hours, 8 if i sleep in. I can't sleep more than that, makes me feel like shit. Even if I stay up til 4 or 5 in the morning drinking like a fish, I have to get up by 8 at the latest or I feel like crap all day long.

4-6.

Unless I'm destroyed or pissed, it normally takes me a good hour, at least, to get to sleep. I've increasingly found myself sleeping for 12 hours or more at weekends though. In any case, I either wake up feeling I've had far too little or far too much. Neither is particularly enjoyable.

7-8 hour myself.
Though now that I'm on break though. Maybe 9 hours. I like to lay in bed as long as I can, dozing.
Hate having to go to bed but once I'm off I rarely want to get back up.

It varies. At the moment, I seem to be getting anywhere between 7-9 hours sleep, as I have to get up at 5am to go to work, and it really helps if I am not sleepy during the day.

I always...ALWAYS...make sure that I get at least 9 hours asleep. Anything less I become tired the entire day, anything more I....well I feel tired and lazy all at the same time.

I have a tendancy of going to bed very late, such as now, when it's 1 am and I should be sleeping but am instead procrastinating on forums. Because I still have to wake up at a reasonable time for school, I often sleep less than 6 hours on a work day. When I don't have any obligations in the morning however, I can easily sleep for over 12 hours.

Usually from 10/11 to 8/9.

So about 8-10 hours.

Though it sometimes changes.

I try to aim for 8 hours of sleep, but on weekdays I usually end up undersleeping and on weekends oversleeping.
And then there are the days I get distracted and end up awake at 7AM, having not slept all night. Then I have to force myself to stay awake all day so I can go to bed at a semi-normal time. Those days suck.

Hey! You finally got the snow background for your avatar! How long did it take to do?

OT: I usually get about 6-7 hours on average, though it can be anywhere from 4 hours some study nights to 10 on weekends, so it varies.

The snow wasn't as hard as the fire. It only took me a few hours. I think I might do cherry blossoms for spring.
