Poll: How much do you spend on an average night out?

I spend about $20 when I go to the movies...

That's about the only time I'll "go out".

Then again I feel a little out-of-place here, being an American in an area where the only "going out" options are restaurants with bars. I'm rather enraptured, however, to hear what a night out is for other folks. Maybe I'm too frugal for this, though: I can't fathom blowing a week's pay like that.

Well, at uni it's barely anything, we buy crates of beer dead cheap and then drink about two drinks when out. Plus club entry is never more than like £5, unless it's a big event in which case £10. I went for £10-20

Heehee, we do, but mostly in cities, not so much out in the suburbs. i'd love to visit a proper pub someday.

I don't drink and I eat pretty lightly and most of my expenses go towards cinema so really only about 20. Sometimes less.

Bout £20 usually. I am pretty relentless in bugging friends to buy drinks for me tho.

When i'm at Uni i can easily walk to the bars and clubs so i spend roughly £20 (friends buy me drinks too for saving their asses with assignments), at home it's alot more. I'll spend about £15 on drink (i get free entry to clubs) but i have to keep around £20 for the taxi home.

Tends to be somewhere around £40. I throw my money around ridiculous amounts.

Well I would tend to spend about a tenner(euros), for eight cans of cider. Drink about 6 be very heavily inebriated and spend my last two euro on trying to get two girls to kiss or trying to buy a burger in supermacs by saying that it's my birthday.

I don't usually drink but when I do I go all out. I tend to smoke though.

Once I get abit drunk thats it, a £50 note will come out and be gone by the time I get home.

As little as possible. Twenty euro is the average. I'm fairly lightweight, so that saves me money.
I really hate spending it.

Large rounds, £4 a pint, spirits and shooters... and god forbid entry fee. Even if we avoid expensive bars and nightclubs the extra money usually goes on food. Then there are those nights where everyone gets drunk and we end up in a casino or stripjoint... boy does that wallet know when that happens.

£50 - £100 probably. More if I get stranded in London and have to either get a hotel or a cab for 40 miles.

well seein as usually when i go out its with my girlfriend, im usually throwing 40 bucks out there too, however much that is in Euros
