Well, in UK terms, I just finished Sixth Form, and now I'm off to become an Aerospace Engineering Apprentice at a collage. All run by General Electric Aircraft Engineering Solutions. Mainly went for an apprenticeship in this field because the pay is so darn good.

Dropped out of college at the end of the third year (out of four), when the focus of education was shifting more and more from "creative problem-solver" to "mindless corporate slave". Never looked back since, and I doubt my life would've turned out as awesome as it has now if I'd stayed and finished 'formal' education.

Associate, bachelor, and master's degrees, and working on a PhD. (It would have been two bachelor's degrees, but my school didn't offer the option in my minor.)

So yeah, I have a lot of time on my hands.

Ehm well, since it cannot be quantified exactly since everybody's bound to forget something, here's a list of things I have done/should know shit about ;). I possess a standard Dutch high school VWO diploma(can be compared with all AP courses all the time),which shows that I graduated in: Math, English, Dutch, German, French, economics, Mangement and Organisation, History (17/18th century wars/ Dutch golden and silver age), Geography, biology 1, Cultural studies, social studes and Physics light (weird subject, dealth with things such as global warming and evolution and social impact etc).

I also possess a Bilingual VWO diploma and a IB Language A2 diploma. Currently I'm in college, studying English Language and Culture (mainly focussed on the British Isles). I just finished my first year, and managed to pass all my classes so technically I am now also educated in the following courses:

Note: TV = language adeptness/language skills or something like that.
TV1 - writing (basic argumentative essay writing with MLA documentation thrown in)
Tv 2 - speaking (included audio training based on GPA, mainly focussed on RP accent)
TV 3 - combination of the previous two, but then harder (longer essays, more
presentations/perfecting your "accent")

Academic reading ( dealt with poetry and literature interpretation randomly picked out of Norton's anthology. Items that passed the review: Shakespearean sonnets, Tess D'ubervilles, The dumb waiter, the importance of being earnest, Fiesta, Romeo and Juliet as well as roughly 40 poems of which I've forgotten half)

From Old to Middle English (Mainly dealt with literature: Beowulf, The green knight, Canterbury tales, but also with some history and how manuscript dating/creating works)

Language science introduction course (dealt with language development as well as socio/neurolinguistics)

Literary science introduction (Dealt with the written word and various theories in the field of this particular subjects such as Barthes' Death of the author and Derrida's approach to interpreting texts)

Varieties of English, with History of English dialects as a sub course ( focussed on recognizing various dialects, such as cockney, welsh, geordie, scots, N/S Irish, GA, New York, Australian. The sub course mainly focussed on how the English language developed, and what political/historical factors impacted it)

Well that's all I possess so far. Oh yes: I'm also educated in the skill of knitting and know how to bake delicious molasses cookies. I think that about covers it

I have no idea as this list only includes American system. A guideline to other systems would be nice. Anyway I am going to be doing the Leaving Cert next year that is my last exam before University/College/Third Level Education.
Sorry hun. :) Don't know what the system is like over the pond. I also used up all the polling options filling in things I figured would generically apply to what system I did know.
Well they are all different but I only know French, Irish and Uk systems. I will list somethings if you want to a say grade1-12/Primary School option. Just see if you can edit and a /option for the ones already there. I think Secondary Schools/Lycee et College is roughly the level at High school. Primary Schools and Ecole is grade 1-12 roughly speaking I think. The College/University degrees are the same as far as I can remember. The Second Level education is the hardest to match really with American system as we usually have a Junior Cycle UK=GCSE, Ireland=1[sup]st[/sup]-3[sup]rd[/sup] year and France=College(I think might be Lycee before) then we have a Senior Cycle UK=A Levels Ireland 5[sup]th[/sup]-6[sup]th[/sup]year(no that is not a mistake) and France=Lycee(I think). Then we have University/College.

Thanks. But there just isn't enough room to shoehorn that all in. Even editing the options. I'm just going to let it slide as is. :)

What an American-centric set of options. In Australia, there's a significant difference between University and College, heck, even High School and Primary school are different.

I have no idea how to translate to american, but I've got a Bachelor's Degree, 2 Diplomas and a few technical certificates.

I'm actually fairly surprised to see that less than 1/4 of those polled have a college degree of any sort. I got my BS two years ago. I guess it's kind of human nature to assume that other people are like you. Also makes me wonder what the age breakdown of Escapist readers looks like.
