Poll: How much is too much for a game?

Mass Effect cost 400zł here (1 USD=around 3z&#322. Which is why I imported my copy from Canada.

But then, I paid 300 Canadian dollars for a film soundtrack.

To answer your question 80 (speaking USD) and over is too much for your generic 6 hour long single player campaign with generic multiplayer game. 50-60 is sometimes a fair price and 40 is a much better price considering it drops in a few months. So just pretend the release date is farther away.

The standard price for a new game here in Norway is roughly 100 USD. The most I've payed for a game though was roughly 170 USD (Donkey Kong 64, when it was brand new and it included some thingy for the nintendo which was needed to play it I think. I don't know what it actually is though. I had spent half a year or a little more to accumulate that amount of money (I was very young) and it went through the window almost immediately And I haven't even played through the game...)

maybe i'm missing something but isn't the point of buying the game to play it? Why not just download a rom? Same game, just get a controller if you really want one for you PC. You get to play it and save 700-1500 dollars.
