Dabbler and proud.

Nerdy things I do:
Am a member of this forum
Play videogames occaisionally
Read books (although not primarily scifi/fantasy)
I've read more graphic novels than your average person (but less any comic book fan)
Study phsyics

Thats about it.

I'm ashamed to say that I got "Apprentice Dork" for two reasons: one, I'm no apprentice; and two, I'm a nerd, and a geek, but not a dork. I like the phrases "Alpha Nerd" and "Holistic nerd" to describe myself. Holistic Nerd is a good description because I'm involved, to some extent, in almost all things nerdy, from tabletop gaming to making music. I may have some nerdy activities stick out as primary facets of my nerd-dom, but there's very few nerdy activities that I haven't done -- let alone wouldn't do if given the option. I also like to use the phrase "Alpha Nerd" for those who are absolutely nerdy, but also have decent social skills and a fairly broad circle of friends; another term for the same thing might be "King Nerd," but I'd say the connotations on that are a little bit too negative -- not to mention gender specific.

I'm 'Geek to the core' apparently.

Based on my first attempt at the quiz anyway.

I had a lot of answers where I felt like 'none of the above' applied.

But any attempt to change the answers just resulted in me being less of a nerd. XD.

That's funny really, considering my obsessive knowledge of star trek, science, and the debates I used to take part in;

Not to mention the crazy computer programming projects, and generally obsessive behaviour I have.

I guess I'm just too lazy to be a true out and out nerd though. XD.

Can't say Klingon is one of the things I have in my bag of Ubernerd tricks- I think I need to invest!

I can't decide if saying the mother has a smooth forehead is an insult or is you hitting on her...

Eitherway my nerdiness is all science, computers and cartoons, although I have watched all of Startrek TNG my knowledge has lapsed a lot!

Ubernerd! I'm the only person I know who can say my first gaming system was a pc, built my computer myself, usually into nerdy pastimes and activities (card games, video games, and such), I'm a psychotic Trekkie (and I make sure everyone knows it) as well as a fan of sci-fi in general, I love comics and books, and I love writing.
