I have sleep apnea and haven't been using my mask, so I probably get 4-5 hours of sleep a night...even if I'm actually "sleeping" for 8 or more.

How do you even sleep with that thing on. o_O
Anyway sounds like my ex had that. She could constantly stop breathing until she suddenly half awoke gasping. We are talking like 2 minutes no breathing. Creepy as hell.
Yup, been there, done that. I never knew I had it until my ex-girlfriend told me about it. Scared the hell out of her.

As for the mask, it's a pain in the ass. I feel like I should be either flying a jet or in a bacta tank.

If I sleep more than eight hours, I feel groggy for the rest of the day. Unfortunately, if I sleep significantly less than that, I also feel groggy for the rest of the day. And irritable.

I get around 7 hours on average. I'm not in education or working at the moment (Gap year ftw) so I don't really have anything to motivate me. But I do have siblings who are getting up in the mornings for school etc so I tend to go to bed at around 1-2am and wake up around a normal time (8am or 9am).

On a school night, it's usually 3-4 hours, but I can sleep from 7am to 7pm, if I'm allowed. I voted 5 hours, as that sounds reasonable.

I always get my 8 hours of sleep, so I can function at my peak performance level the next day. I have a lot of important responsibilities, and barring my children needing anything from a to z, I always get to bed at a reasonable time.

Yep, good old reliable, responsible chronobreak. Gettin' the Z's.

I'm usually lucky to get five, I think its something, but maybe I just don't need sleep...
Attention shoppers: Do NOT think sleeping drugs fix everything, let alone anything.
The only thing it does is makes you dependent on them after as little at 2 dosages
They only make life worse, because you'll need them forever if you start...

Funny story...
I went to my doctor about it, he gave me a list of thing I could do to help me get to sleep at night...
Having sex was one of top three!
Doctor prescribed sex? I'll have two thanks!
Ultimate pick up line...

Although I did have to explain I wasn't seeing anyone
And never have... Or will...
Boo hoo waa waa I don't care

Aah responsibilities. That's actually very same reason which causes me to sleep less: I'm the last one to go to bed, after the dishwasher has been put on, the kitchen is clean, ... And I'm the first one to get up in the morning (and the last one to leave for work).

Kudos to your hard work! It's not easy maintaining a living space. Well, I have a wife, so it's easy for me, but only because I'm not allowed to touch the kitchen or laundry or vacuum. Not that I'd want to anyways, I mean come on, I got video games to be played.

If and when I can I like to get more than 8hrs, but it really is a luxury when I do. Most of the time I'll probably get 6 or 7 hours max.
