didnt play 'em because i was bored enough with morrowind.
Dude!!! If you're saying that Fallout 3 is essentially morrowind, you're dead wrong.

(You get nuke launchers in Fallout 3) + AK-47's of course.

I was close to 200 hours, most of it from the 360. I switched over to PC eventually for better graphics and it continued on. I'm not really sure how many hours I actually have in that game.

My hours on Fallout 3 vary. I'm very OCD about my playthroughs, and I constantly start over again trying to do over something I did wrong before.

More than 250 on Fallout 3. Should be close to 175-200 on the pc (don't remember well was long time ago) and slightly above 100 on the PS3.

10 hours into Oblivion before I got bored, closed the game and never ever touched it again.

I played the hell out of Fallout 3. Start to finish 6 times plus a few experimental characters that I never finished, but still leveled up quite a bit. I never checked to see how many hours I'd played it though. But every scrap of free time between my Birthday in 09(Jan 10th) and the release of the last DLC pack was spent playing Fallout 3.

Oblivion I only played for about 11 hours. The game was great, but overwhealming to me at the time. It was one of those games that I bought because it was the new cool thing people were talking about, but I wasn't really in the mood for it. So I played it a while and then moved on. I kept meaning to get back to it when I was more inclined toward that type of game, but it just never happened.

I had Fallout 3 GoTY edition. So more than 100 hours in that, with all the DLC.
Only have about 60 hours in Oblivion though.(Got so bored I couldn't play it further)

While I've played neither, I can say that I'm pretty close to the 100 hr. mark in Morrowind.

Well i beat the game before with all achievements, items, play throughs, etc. But then we had to get a new console which sadly i did not own a xbox live account at the time so i couldn't retrieve the achievements or memory of the game.
Then this summer i decided to do it again and did the same thing i did with my old one since i had unlimited amount of time (SUMMER VACATION). So i'd say more then a month of total play time. that might have been a over estimate but it's still a lot.
EDIT: I'm talking bout fallout 3

Certainly more than 500. Throw in Morrowind + Daggerfall, and suddenly whoever posted 4000+ won't look nearly so crazy. I like squeezing all the value I can out of my games and Bethesda is one of the best at providing for that. If they would migrate towards a mix of randomly generated stuff along with hand-placed content, I'd probably never buy another game. That's likely to be the reason they don't do that, but I can still dream.

Incidentally, Daggerfall is free. I'm surprised more people haven't given it a shot.

In Oblivion, 517 hours, in Fallout 3, 428.

...

I just realised that's a lot of time spent on them.

In Oblivion. I've done it all, played every playstyle, memorized the map, experienced every glitch, and generally mastered the base game. All on the 360 version, no less. Have the PC version and a decent laptop to run this now-old game, don't even want to risk my soul by dipping into the mods.

About 100 in Fallout 3. Didn't like it as much.
Holy. F***ing. Shit.

Fallout 3: Well over 200 hours.

Oblivion: Somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 hours. Luckily, having beaten the main quest, all the guilds, all the DLCs, and gotten all 60 achievements, I will NEVER play the game again. Yay.

Made it to about 325+ hours in Oblivion, 150+ hours in Fallout3...

Which is surprising... I usually prefer apocalyptical settings over fantasy...

Between the two games, and two consoles, I've clocked in well over 500 hours between the two. Most of the time went into Fallout. I've got the platinum trophy for PS3, every achievement on the X360 [by which I mean EVERY this includes DLC] Same for Oblivion but no trophies obviously.

I can't wait for New Vegas!!
