Poll: How much would you gamble?

I would go to thames and flip the coin directly into the river, let my fortune be unbeknownst to myself and continue to do as i do.

Or rather my laxly nature would probably commit me to mail it to someone i don't like and see what happens

It's like a deck of many things, if something like that was ever put in by a DM we never really used it. I'm generally not the kind of guy to go for that kind of thing. I'll take a risk but not if I don't at least feel like I can influence the outcome in some way

Nope, I have scant few good things in my life, and I don't want to foolishly gamble them away in the hope of gaining more.

Would we be told what we lost? Or would I have to sift through my entire pile of junk to figure out wether is was a paperclip or a kidney?

You would have to work it out yourself, depending on what is taken you might never even notice anything is missing.

I will occasionally buy a lottery ticket with a couple spare bills in my pocket. I've played $1 buy-in poker and had a brilliant time. But I'm not one of those people who enjoys gambling when the stakes are high.

Well damn, I was just going to say that.

I'm not comfortable at all to gamble something in an effort to gain something that's actually doable on my own with the high risk of losing something dear to me.

I think desperate people do that, and I will never be that desperate to gamble something away like that. Might as well ask me to play chess with the Grim Reaper.

Nope.

The fact that could lose something as important as a limb or my eyesight tells me that I could even lose my life. And I don't gamble with that for anything.

Of course, I wouldn't gamble with any of those either. Basically, I can't afford to.

I don't enjoy gambling, but I get really sucked in if I ever do. I avoid anything to do with gambling, because if I did, I would probably end up an addict. If I had this coin, I probably wouldn't be able to help myself.
