Poll: How often do you buy games?

Just wanted to see how often you guys buy games. I'm sure most of the answers would be inconsistent.

Also post some of your thoughts about the poll and how i could improve on it.

Anyway, regarding poll, I don't really think you could improve on it. It covers all choices.

Every 2-6 months depending on what comes out. I rarely buy within a month of each other.

I think it averages out to roughly one per month. It depends on (1) how sure I am that a given game is probably going to be good and (2) how much money I have.

i buy at least one a month but weirdly enough i have bought 3 this month.Also i know i will be buying quite a few next month due to pre christmas games rush

Too often for my bank account. I recently bought a PS3 and range of games because I had enough money.

I buy games whenever I can afford them, which is not often. However, I buy games with lasting appeal, and get games for holidays, so I'm never without at least one to play.

Usually one game per month. It actually balances quite nicely with my monthly paycheck.

I try to get one every month. Usually it works, recently its been slow because my 360's with microsoft, damn red rings... I usually buy a 360 fame every other month and a ds or psp game every month. Oh, and a PS3 game when one that looks good comes out. I would buy more often if it weren't for Gamefly.

It probably works out as about twice a month, but I buy in fits and starts.

At the end of last year I bought nearly 30 games in a month. But since then it's been eight or nine old PS1/2 second hands and L4D2 pre-ordered.

It really depends. During the summer I buy about 1-2 games, but during the holiday season I can easily buy 5+ games.

Inconsistently. I bought two games last month. The last time I bought a game before then was January.

Well, if my mum is in the city, we have the money, and/or there is an interesting looking game going for fairly cheap, I usually get one or two, depending on how much money we have/how cheap said game is.

This can happen within the space of a week or several months.

So, it's inconsistant, really.

When I have enough money for the games I want. I buy all my games on Steam and because of the exchange rate (I live in Australia) they're around 40% off for the big games like Left 4 Dead 2 and Borderlands. Also the smaller/indie/old games are well priced too, so I buy a lot of them.

Whenever I have enough money spare, I usually pick up books, followed by games,followed by DVDs. So this is very inconsistent. Sometimes I can pick up about five games at once, other times I go months before being able to buy one.

Well I don't own many games so i already know what i'm going to buy but since I am really poor i rarely buy games but i wish i could buy more. I've only bought two games in ten months for my 360 that i've had for 10 months. (Halo 3 is getting really boring)
