I generally try to finish a game but... with games like Fallout 3 and Oblivion... even after going through every main story and faction-related quest... there just feels like more to do.
Especially if I install mods.
Incidentally, if you have a PC version of Oblivion... I'd strongly recommend the following mods: Malevolant, Tears of the Fiend, and Midas Magic.
No, I didn't make any of those mods. The first two are the BEST quest mods I've played, and Midas Magic introduces an entirely new magic system while leaving the old one intact.

Sorry if that derailed the thread a bit.
i can't find malevolant, but i'm installing the otehr 2 just now.

EDIT: nvm, found it.
Both Malevolant and Tears of the Fiend are by the same author, that should help.

More or less. There's only a few games out there that I haven't finished or never will finish, purely because I didn't enjoy them or I borrowed them and decided they weren't worth buying. The few of these games that I remember would be Legacy of Kane: Soul Reaver, Centipede and Shadowgunner, all for the PS1.

On the overall, there's plenty of games I haven't finished, but I do intend to finish them.

Unless I lose it, I will always finish a game I start playing. Even if I hate it. So far, I've beaten all but three games I started, and that was because I lost them.

If I pay for it, almost always. If I borrow it, rarely unless it's really good. In which case I buy it.
