I'm pretty much constantly reading a book, except during exam season or when I have a paper due - so more than once a week.

I've been trying to read alot of classics recently, and am currently reading Brave New World. Usually though I read fantasy, historical, or, again, classics.

I usually read one book a month, usually cos thats how long it takes me to finish a book (not much free time at the momment), unless I get really into it then I can have it finished in a week.

I like to read fantasy mostly with some murder mystery on the side. Currently reading Blood of the Mantis by Adrian Tchaikovskey.

I read almost every day. I finished Inkdeath, Brisingr, and Ship of Destiny recently. I read all kinds, but my favorites are fantasy.

I read very often, I probably finish a book every 2-3 weeks. As for what I read, I read fantasy mostly. (Especially Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms [R.A Salvatore FTW!])

Its great to know that so many people read still. A lot of my friends find it weird that I'd rather read a book then gawp in front of the TV. Anyone else get stigma for reading?

I read a book a week, usually. Sometimes more.

My parents have a very large backlog of great books to get through. I'm currently on Tim Pat Coogan's book about The Troubles.
I have his biography of Micheal Collins. 'tis rather good :)

And I have to read pretty much all the time (well not all the time, but you know what I mean) unless I want to fall behind in my studies. Sometimes I enjoy it, sometimes I dont.

Reading purely fro pleasure is a rarity for me. Not because I dislike it, but because there's so much other stuff I have to read that's more important :( I have no idea of how many books I read a year.

Excluding school books, maybe once every few months. There are several books I'd like to read, but most are really hard to read and demands great focus. The ones I do want to read are the Neil Gaiman books, The Wheel of Time series, and The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy. I have all the books, but they're all so heavy to read, especially The Wheel of Time.

I also want to read some Ayn Rand, but that's even harder. The books by her I want to read are Capitalism: The Lost Philosophy, and Objectivist Epystomology.

Also, I'm thinking about checking out the Tom Clancy books. People tell me that Rainbow Six and The Hunt For Red October are good. And the games have interesting stories enough.
Rainbow 6 is the mutts nuts. Especially if you're into descriptions of firearms, tactics, and other such stuff. It's basically a 900 page long military nerdgasm.

I'm currently reading Helter Skelter: the True Story of the Manson Murders.

I love reading Stephen King, though, and whenever my mom gets done reading Under the Dome, I'm gonna read that.

I go through periods where I read a lot, and then periods of not reading at all. I don't know what it averages out to. I can do many in a week or one over months. The last book I read was The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon

I fucking love reading.

I always have at least one book on the go.

[sub]I'm especially saddened at the moment since I finished the current Discworld Series *sniff*[/sub]

I read quite often actually. Usually they are either historical books like biographies or text book that I have, cultural books and some religious ones. If not that ten I'll read older books Like An American Tragedy by Theodore Dreiser, or To Kill A Mocking Bird. I get bored and read them to learn, and to entertain.
