You mean start a new book, right? Probably once a month or once a week. If theres a series I left sitting around, then I can read them all through within a month.

I've been going through about 1 book a week or so. Lot of reading time busing to and from work.

Typically it's fantasy/sci-fi. I've been reading through the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. I'm on Book 10 ("Small Favor") and Book 11 recently came out in paperback with Book 12 due out next month (for which I'll wait for the paperback release.)

Yesterday I picked up "The Dirt" by Motley Crue. They're my fave of the 80's Hollywood rock scene and having already read Nikki Sixx's "The Heroine Diaries" (which I plan on rereading sometime soon, it was that good) I thought I'd read up on the rest of the band.

I'd like to see how close, by the end of the year, I can actually get to reading at least 52 books (figuring 1 a week and all.)

You can dig through my books over at Shelfari: http://www.shelfari.com/ChrisShadowens

I read a book every day(not through a book, mind), and not always just TSL, but actually for the pleasure of it.

It's usually comes down to whenever I have one, at which point it contributes once more to my state of chronic sleep deprivation. I'm until 1 or 1:30 AM reading... Of course my DS fills that slot when I don't have a book. >.>

I try to read every day. Keeps the mind sharp and helps me to write better.

The length greatly varies though, sometimes I can read a piece of YA fiction through in an afternoon, but sometimes it takes me months to get through a doorstopper.

I'm all about horror, sci-fi, and crime stories.

Read at different intervals I could read 4 books in a week and not read for 2 weeks, but I usually read something once a week.

As far as actual novels go, I try to read one or two every month in conjuncture with the other reading I already have with classes and my job and all other things. Some months I might read more but thats usually the standard

Used to go through a few books a week but now I just never get the chance to sit down and do so. I read little by little when I get the time unless I really like the book then everything else I might have to do can go screw it self. As for actual books: right now I'm on a Neil Gaiman kick and been working through his book Neverwhere

I do it when I'm done with other stuff. It usually takes me 3 weeks to a month to read a standard 300 pg book.

I read the Bible I sneaked into China at least 5 times per week on the bus ride to town.

And I steal a peak at the works of C.S. Lewis and Roald Dahl once in a while. :)

I am never, ever too far from a book. Yeah, sometimes I take a rest, but it is not more than a week at a time. I read about 2 fiction for 1 non-fiction. I like to be entertained and learn from time to time.

I actually read quite a lot, but i'm always picking up something by, like, Stephen King, who has a serious case of diarhea of the word processor, and can't seem to make his books shorter than at least 500 pages. I'm on "IT" right now, have been so for a few weeks, and am about 650 pages through, out of a total of about 1100 pages or so.

I don't read books nearly as often as I would like to, but I usually make up the difference with comics.

The last book I completed was My Dead Body by Charlie Huston, the final book in his Joe Pitt vampire series (the most violent, gritty vampire books I've ever read), and that was about late December-early January. Shortly after that, I got started on Moby Dick, but kind of stalled through a combination of a screwed up work schedule and the fact that the book is tough to read at times (Melville really loves the history of whaling).

I normally read a lot of novels, like 6 each year. The problem is that I have read every single novel that I had on my house that I don't have much to read lately.

I read whenever I can. I love it almost as much as gaming. Just finished up Stephen Colbert's book, funny as hell... even though I'm aware hell isn't all that funny. The book was. Now I'm reading Ender's Shadow by Orson Scott Card. Good book, that.

I make it my mission to read as much as it takes to satisfy my hunger. I can get quite famished for reading at time. I read for hours a day almost without fail. there is almost nothing better.
