It's good, informative and entertaining; but I don't think it's AS good as used to be. Seems par for the course really. I still watch it as soon as I can manage, every Wednesday. Sometimes I'll watch it on the train rather than wait until I get home.

With the way things have been around here for the last year, if it weren't for ZP I'd have probably stopped visiting all together. Car-crash shit-flinging drama from contemptuous people wouldn't have kept me around for long.

Well I started catching Yahtzee's cometary on his old ass sites, back before ZP became a thing. I mostly found him because of being poor and searching freeware games, how I found the freeware games he published, found I liked his work generally. Saw his cometary later, liked that fallowed on and off for a long time. I'm also one of those strange persons who had the occasional brush with him online, commenting in various forums around the internet long long ago, before ZP even. I liked him even a bit back then, even if most people saw him as a total self absorbed prick.

I caught on to ZP shortly after it hit if I recall correctly I saw a few episodes when there were just a few videos. But this was about a year after my mom died, and between then and 2010 are a blur to me because of how much influx my life was.

Still I keep up to date with ZP, and EP for that matter, also now Judging by the Cover is something I somewhat enjoy. I just get behind fairly often and have to watch up several episodes. I'm much more consistent with watching the stuff Yahtzee does on his youtube channel with Gabriel Morton, because it's much more interesting.

Edit: ZP is also what lead me to discover this site, it's part of why I stick around, but mostly because it seems like the only constant here. Well aside from the forums, which I lurked around more than participated in for years, so there is that.

I just stayed up a few minutes more refreshing the page waiting for this week's episode, but that's more to do with the fact that I mean to turn off my computer and internet for tomorrow so I can get some fucking work done for once rather than wasting all day on the internet, and having a fresh ZP video would only give me an excuse to open up my browser and then close it at the end of another wasted day.

As for quality, I can't say I've noticed any real decrease over the years.

Watching it as soon as it comes out.

Some episodes aren't as fun to watch, but generally there's always a laugh or 2 per episode.
ZP was the main reason why I ever made an acount here, and if that show gets put to a stop I don't think I will still be here. Unlike some other communities (or whatever you may name it) there aren't any people I care for, and it shows. But that is a completely diffirent story. With all the content shifts only ZP and Cosplay Closet are what I follow every week.

That's why I said that I did it in the past, not so much the case any more.

I watch it anytime it's about a game I'm interested in. So if Yahtzee reviews ten interesting games in a row, I'll watch it ten weeks in a row. And if he doesn't review games I'm interested in, I won't watch it at all.

Yeah, I'm just having fun. It mildly amused me to see you mention lurking when I personally see you everywhere.

I know the two aren't necessarily exclusive as one's past behaviour, but....

I came from X-Play to watch some ZP... and I could binge-watch/marathon it if I damn well want to at any given time, of course...

Other than that, now I have two days scheduled to watch Yahtzee in video form on The Escapist, so to me, the fun has been doubled...

Voted 2) Regular viewer of the series but I don't always catch it on the day of release.

I've said this before but Zero Punctuation's style of humour grew tiresome within a couple months for me. The show started off genuinely hilarious for me but didn't have legs to carry that joke on strong. It's not a matter of his writing or delivery but just the style. Every episode feels the same and the jokes haven't evolved with time.

So why didn't I just stop watching the show altogether several YEARS ago?

Simply put...I view the show as a means of learning about games I haven't played or may wish to buy. It's research in the form of entertainment. He's not reviewing games but he does go out of his way to point out the flaws within the experience. Something that can often feel glossed over or not emphasized enough in proper reviews.

The show remains entertaining to boot. It's like watching a newer episode of The Simpsons. You might not laugh but you'll have a good time just the same.

I still watch it every week. I don't always watch it on the day it comes out as I come back from work fairly late, and more often than not, I have had to take work home with me, so I don't get around to watching ZP until Friday or Saturday, but today I managed to watch it on the day it came out. I still find it funny, but I must admit that I am enjoying his Youtube videos and his latest series Judging by the cover more.

I watch it occasionally. I binge-watched the whole series when I first joined, and used to wait patiently for new episodes to be posted. Nowadays I'm not really on top of new releases and rarely recognize the games being reviewed, and if I do I probably don't give a shit about it. I still tune in when I'm bored, mostly for Yahtzee's humor and wit.

Not only do I watch every episode on the day, I regularly archive binge. Zero Punctuation was the only thing keeping me here until Judging by the Cover and GoodBad Flicks started up.
