Most of us are between 17 and 25. The problem with taking a demographic study here is that there are a lot of other variables that limit the diversity of people here, and the sites ability to give you a good sampling of the populous in general. Way to many variables.

Unfortunately your results will be somewhat skewed. This is more a less a "How old are Escapist community members" poll.

I think there are plenty of studies out there already about this: finding one would probably boost your credibility in the report, since official stats are always more respected than original research. Unless, of course, you're supposed to do it yourself: in that case, good luck.

I'd say, instead of numbers, think of age as life situations. Have they reached puberty, What school they're in, possible graduation, how many years in working life, etc.
For example, 21-30 is way too big a margin. 21 can be a guy who's just gone into university/college, living alone for the first time in his life, and a guy who's 30 can be a married man with kids and a mortgage.

How old am I if I play video games? I would expect I'm anywhere between 12 and 25, depending on whether I'm playing a platformer or an eroge.

The title is ambigous at best, is it asking "me" what age i am, or what age i did i start playing games or what age do i think the average age of peeps playing game is (are?)
