Poll: How old are you if you play video games?

My god, it seems as if some sort of pattern is emerging! It's almost as if the overwhelming majority of people on this site are roughly the same age. HOLY SHIT who'd have figured, huh? That being said, this probably IS an accurate reflection of the average age of gamers - not counting the "casual" gaming demographic a.k.a those who own a Wii as their only console (oh yeah, I went there)

And seriously? You added an option for 9 and under on a website that doesn't allow anyone 12 and under to join? I'm guessing you didn't exactly think this through.

Alex Kidd on the Master System was my first game.

I am 33 this year

Same here. I'm in the 31-40 group. Two years ago the average gamer was 32 years old.
